Do you know four people with time and money? Or do we just get rid of them and have a void? I think there is a situation where you can criticise a BOD and that's when they're running the club with lots of resources. When they run a fully professional set up and are raking in Sky money - then I think they're fair game. Bagging "volunteer" board members ( I know, I know, it's a tiresome phrase - but it's reality) is achieving what exactly? People certainly have opinions and mine is that our current board are doing the best they can and when people come on here and call for their heads I will react strongly - as forum guidelines permit. Doesn't mean to say I'm right - it's just an expression of opinion. Calling for the board to go without putting up an alternative and wishing on a prayer that some shining white knight will step in is extremely naive.

Just reading the different assessments I wouldn't argue with most of them. It's sad re Black and Jones because they both obviously love the club, but there's no room for sentiment I'm afraid.

Watch recordings of matches 2 or 3 seasons ago and you'll see how Black has lost it ... lost that yard of pace and to go with it the confidence. Too much time has now passed for him to regain it. Jones, big heart, just not good enough

As for Sam Barlow ..... he really is starting to remind me of Andy Hobson. Great potential but too hot headed .... I can see him returning to The Shay in a few years time wearing a Fev shirt, weighing 20 stones, looking for a fight every tackle, and the Fax crowd chanting "you fat bastad" whilst we're smashing them by 50 ... but hopefully he'll get his act together and not "do a hobbo".

That is so disrespectful. That's a jibe I'd expect to be levelled at an opposition player, not a Fax one! What is wrong with you man? These players read this forum and whilst constructive criticism can be justified this type of personal attack is pathetic.

At the end of the day certain players have looked very unfit this year - there is no excuse for being out of shape they are supposed to be semi professional sportsmen - out of form I accept but not out of shape. We cannot have it all ways, the players talked about a small mobile pack etc then they are all huffing and puffing after 10 minutes.

I agree that people should not be naming names but I think several people will agree that fitness levels have not been the same this year compared to last.

Also, the squad for large parts of the year haven been a long way behind the likes of Leigh and Fev and people are talking about retaining the majority of the squad - we need to trim it down and cut back on costs and rely on the U23's if we hit an injury crisis - money on the likes of Holroyd, Smith, Clayton, Larder, Ratu, Rudd, Watene could and should of been better spent. We should be looking to spend what we have on Quality rather than Quantity. There is no point having an U23's if they are never going to get a game with the squad - if there is no promotion from within the U23's will look very unappealing.

Criticism per se isn't disrespectful but personal jibes are. I would not have any problems criticising a player - in the manner that I would be comfortable saying it to his face. I wonder if the said poster would say what he did whilst stood in front of Dylan?

Your choice Littlerich, mine is not yours obviously, and just for the record I've criticised a lot of the players to their faces, even had Mr Calland walk away from me when i asked him if he would be coaching defence anytime soon. Maybe you wouldn't be as brave yourself when you lay into other posters? Im quite certain you wouldn't speak to many in person as you do on here.

Very excited by this signing, after the relative disappointment of losing Handforth to yourselves. Lets face it, the guy had gone a bit stale at Halifax and should be revitalised by the move to a fresh environment. I understand that we have a signing lined up to play alongside him at stand-off that will surprise a few people.
