Pete you did the right thing staying in Fax, I couldn’t see Fax scoring, they were terrible,Murrell looked injured from the start,Tangata and Larroyer invisible ,Butler and Salty did ok, but very ooor the rest, we would have scored 50 with Brierley in the team, Fax won’t finish in the top 5 ,maybe out of top 7.
If you don’t beat Barrow next week it could be a long summer.As for the sending off,for me it was deserved, and we scored after the event , but the Ref brought it back and gave us a free kick.

That corner? It happened closer to the middle of the pitch. It will certainly make interesting viewing because although Tangata is off the floor it looked like he simply pushed Wood. There was a lot to watch from that point and at one point I thought a Leigh player was laying in to a fax lad while the fax lad was been held back by a few Leigh players. Certainly the officials did not think the first tackle warranted a penalty otherwise the whistle would have gone when the ball came down. I cant wait for the video, from a Fax point of view abouts the most interesting thing that happened all afternoon.



On that note how soon do Leigh normally get the video out? Our media department has been pretty poor for a few months now and its rare we even get highlights never mind a full game

Fax were second best across the park today unless we're counting cards, unfortunately, the match officials won that one & they came home in a sorry 3rd place

Woods did milk the penalty and I'm a Leigh fan,but the lad that got sent off did throw a punch 1st and in today's game it will always be a card.Personally i think a yellow is plenty for a punch up and let the lads calm down

Halifax were on the end of a physical approach, your number 10 Fairbank housing at every opportunity was just embarrassing, as I say Fleming walked for throwing punches, instant red nowadays, it was 30 yards out from the North Stand.

Fairbank is, in my opinion, having his best ever season as a pro, i wouldn't change a single thing about his game if i were his gaffer, you go to Leigh, you gotta be prepared to go to war, he'll do for me matey.

Watching the highlights on LCTV, touch judge was on as soon as Tangata made the challenge. Can't really say much about the punch up, the cameraman understandably didn't seem to know which bit of play to follow.
