Get a grip man. It's just as easy to type "our" as "are" on a keyboard, and one is correct (in the context of "our team"icon_wink.gif and the other isn't. It's also good to capitalise the start of a sentence and leave a space after a full stop (when I was at school, we were taught two spaces) - why? - 'cos it's easier for everyone else to read and make sense of what you're saying.

Btw, it's "they're" rather than "there" in your last post. The apostrophe signifies the joining of the two words "they" and "are". Again, why important? So we don't have to spend time deciphering what's really being said.

Quote: halifaxjohn "Surprised as you are 87legends you haven't mentioned Wilf Ball The George.
Any one who watched the BBC recording of that great day will know what I am talking about.'"

That would be Mr Alex Murphy HJ and some comment about the size of Wilfs legs not needing much of them to fill your plate.
Wilf as we all know had his fair share of ups and downs. (As did Rob.)
I remember a night match at Thrum when we were playing Hull who had Noel Cleal playing for them at the time. The place was packed and Wilf was having a shocker. Everybody where I was stood had been giving him some right stick up until he got the ball and went on a classic run beating several defenders to go in at the corner. All change with fans going mad and some comedian shouts out a few seconds after it had gone quiet "Good old Wilf".
Yes I would take the Warrior back.

Just thinking about the 'show Wilf ball the George' comment, I thought that was Maurice Bamford co commentator at the actual '87 final. Murphy did indeed refer to size of Wilf's legs but that was as a co commentator in an earlier round. I think Murphy was the Saints coach when we beat them at Wembley.

If we did (have) signed Rob back to the club I think it's a great signing. He was fast and powerful as a part time player. Now he has a full year as at full time he wil be even better. Get some fast centres to get the ball to him.
Having seen him at the shay this season he looks bigger than before. Hope it's a true signing.

Charlie likes the Worrier, only fault he hates the high ball,he's been making a few quid as Micky Bricks in the Hustle.
