[color=#0000FF:3nk3l5d8]FCHT fans - saving the future of professional football and rugby league in Halifax[/color:3nk3l5d8]:

Quote: chris_smith "The rent is from Sept 12 to Oct 13 that is owed...... Not sure on payment arrangement though in place'"

As I have said before, TA has made it publicly known that Halifax RLFC rent arrears were to be 'tagged on' to his purchase of The Shay. I have no idea what, if any, arrangement has been made since the council rejected the bid.

Complete joke though. HRLFC are allowed to fall massively behind on their rent in the expectation that it would be added onto a separate company's purchase of the stadium.

It wasn't the rugby club who were buying The Shay though, was it????

There was no quiet 'understanding' that Abbott would get The Shay, was there (until those pesky FCHT fans ruined the whole damn thing)????

Remember - 2 weeks away.

5 minutes on shaygirls.net shows what passes for humour in their pre-pubescent world. They'd still go into near fatal fits of giggles at knock knock jokes.

They are now trying to outdo each other with (very feeble) attempts at 12 days of Christmas with a Fax theme. Still, it fills the time until they go down to sign on.

£52k in arrears - £2million written off.

I know where i'd be in a slanging match on this playing field.
FCHT are a new club and therefore have been playing at the Shay for less time than HRLFC.

Theres some good people in there that got shat on and would have struggled because of their lack of payment.

On the plus side it looks like they kept their rent payments up to date, either that or the council simply wrote them off.

Maybe as rugby fans we should all be emailing Councillor Swift demanding if the £587.11 was owed due to rent.

I don`t think they paid their rent to the Council then , it was paid to the SST so hence the £14,000 owed to them and was probably one of the reasons why they had to wind up due to lack of funds.
