Heaton seamed narked in the first minute or two when adam higson smashed him in a tackle, he came off worse in the fight aswell by the look of the things. Good luck for the rest of the season.

Fax on Fire , was a term used by one of your Eternal Optimist fans , not sure who said it , but Littlerich , Halifaxjohn , Swifty , Bentleyman ,all see your team as Top Drawer Murrell is NOT the superman some think he is , far from it ,Leigh dropped a lot of ball last night , giving you cheap possession , and Hewer said the ball went backwards for at least 4 of your knock-ons , 3 made by Fieldhouse from high balls , I thought the Worrier was playing at full back , anyway my friends its not the end of the world , but Big Karl went AWOL , for the post-match food , maybe looking for a water bottle .CHARLIE KNOWS .

| Heaton spat his dummy out early after A.J. levelled him, He then made a major mistake in dropping onto Higson with his knees ,and young Mister Bate showed the Baby who was the boss How High did Harrison kick the water bottle this time I wonder ,into the under sixes with Heaton

Charlie you are living in a dream world, ok you got the result but to suggest that we got 4 decisions from Hewer re the ball going backwards when it didn't is laughable! The game was ours to lose and we did because we couldn't close it out. Leigh were good in defence but I suggest that it was more Halifax`s inability to utilise the backs appropriately that won you the game. Murrell is a class act and is clearly playing with an injury, whether that is the right decision time will tell.

| As I've said all season, we have a top quality pack, proven try scoring backs, but no link players (Murrell excepted)!!
Hopefully the rumours around playmakers for next season are true
However, it only needs to click for a few games at the end of the season!!!

| As others have said, last night proved how desperately we need some new playmakers. Murrell is top-notch - despite Leigh fans basing his ability off one performance as usual - but when we're so limited in attack and he's perceived to be the only threat teams will close him down. A new hooker and number 7 are A MUST, and ideally maybe we should look at bringing in another playmaker and sticking him at 13 again like we did under Calland, we need more pivots, we do this and we're sorted. Rhino's sorted a lot of things for us but he needs to really look into our attack and sort it out. I don't understand what happened to the performances where we were throwing the ball around and scoring for fun.
Also on last night, i was amazed that Higson didn't get sent off, trying to cause problems all night and cracking someone from behind in the fight, pathetic.

Love a bit of Biff myself, but, as Dare says in the post previous to you, Higson started the fight by punching someone from behind and then ran away when things biffed up.
That's not biff that's puff!
P.m'd you.

Referees are like women, they make snap decisions and never reverse them.
Littlerich wrote Widnes will be glad to get away from Leigh. They've been regularly pumped, roasted and left in the alley-way by the lobbygobblers. Talk about being bitched - what a torrid time they've had. They'll be looking for some A&E rest time for the next three years at least.:simpsons/PDT13.gif |

| The fight started when Heaton stuck the elbow on Brierley while he was on the ground. I did see Higson throwing punches but can't say whether they were from behind or not.

The fight had already started! It started because of a cheap shot by a Fax player trying to knock out Brierly with his elbow when he was already tackled and on his back. I also didn't see anyone in a cherry and white shirt running away and seeing as it happened under my nose I probably had a better view than you or indeed K "should have gone to spec savers" H
