Was in the East Stand bar after the game, so I wouldn't think so.

| Premier sports said suspected fracture, then had an update saying thought it was a muscle injury but didnt rule a fracture out either
Tonka definately broke his nose at some point though

Not surprised he may have a broken nose with all those high shots from Keighley, Sam Barlow had a head bandage too later in the game, how the hell did the Ref not send off or at least sin bin one of their players I will never know, you get no protection nowadays its become just part of the game now years ago lots got a straight red for deliberate high shots, he warned them but never did anything about it.

| Firstly well done on your win, now go on and win the whole thing.
Poor turnout all around, which is disappointing as it's a shared gate. I ended up having to come by train via Br*dford as there's no direct public transport from Keighley.
Really proud of my team's performance tonight, we just came up a little short. You're a good side and good sides find ways to win games even when they're not at their best. I thought Barlow and Aizue were superb for you guys. Had some good banter and it was nice to shake hands with a few Fax fans after the game.
All the best.

| Great game and the 3rd time I have travelled to fax has a keighley supporter this year. Referee was poor again tonight for both sides in my opinion, changing his mind on decisions. Must confess many keighley supporters were aggrieved at the last try due to a blatant by a mile forward pass in the centre field which led to the try being scored.
Great game once again and good luck, think you will struggle against Leigh though if you come up against them.

| Ashall gave Demetriou a shove in the back after we'd scored the try in the last minute (as seen on Premier!).
Last serious RL game for the guy, just lost the game and he gets a bit upset... not surprised he turned round and threw a punch as a result!
Worst point was the last Keighley try, when Penky took a bash in the face from Demetriou and ended up on his back. It was a bit of a waft across the face, but if it get near the eyes, it can be a bit of a killer for a few secs. The pundits said it was a penalty, but Penky should have stayed on his feet... The ref only sent the decision to the video ref for the grounding. A bit of a joke really....
Poor crowd, edge of the seat rugby, but not the best quality. Through to the next round though...!!!

| Penky should be ashamed. Leave that BS to the Wendyballers! Exciting game to watch though. Loved JDs comments after the game and Rhino telling the presenter he was just about to rip into his players.

Did you not hear Emmo at HT announce that we had the local golden girl win her second gold medal of the games tonight ??? I know loads of folks who stayed at home to watch her on tv.
How can the club seriously market the game at four days notice ?
To be reasonable there was a mention about the usual pre-match food being unavailable on the club website. You don't think that only hits our club in the pocket ?
I know from talking to a club official on tues night how many they expected the gate to be tonight and it wasn't far off, live tv, season ticket holders having to pay at the gate, short notice to take time off work for shift workers, Hannah on tv, kids back in school etc etc etc.
Where were the Keighley fans as well.'"
They did'nt even tell you what time was the KO.

| Poor ref, head high shots but after building pressure on the ref and Keighley we take 2 points, unbelievable really. It let both of them off the hook, ref had to bin somebody in the next set if they fouled, we should have have run the ball again.
March and Korkidas must have p!ssed themselves when we took the 2 they'd been trying to give away.
We were really poor throughout, gave tries away either side of H/T with poor play and stupid penalties, on that form Batley and Seagulls will take some beating.
Lot to work on between now and next Sunday so hopefully that will be our last bad display this season.

Not sure who it was, but one of your players was bragging right in Demetriou's face, not the smartest of things to do. Little wonder that he lashed out.

Ashall clearly wound JD up following the try.
even Ghandi would have reacted like JD did.

| Quote: Fax4Life "Nowt wrong with the try I guess they thought the final pass was forward which it wasn't both the Ref and Linesman were close enough to call it and they were both happy hence TRY.
What a poor performance from us we played too much one man stuff and coughed the ball up far too easily, Ashall had a mare he has gone right off his game, but we won and we can play miles better than that, I guess the tough game on Sunday costs us a bit while they had rested 4 players at Fev.
We will play better a week on Sunday when Batley or Sheffield come to town'"
Yes, officially it was a try as the officials called it, but it was in fact about 2 yards forward. Even the pass before was forward! No sour grapes though as our first try was just a forward pass from JD to Moss, you have to take the rough with the smooth.
I think some Cougar fans and players thought there may have been an obstruction 2 passes before in midfield but it was 50/50 at best.
From other posts, as for roughing up, head high tackles, swinging arms, Fax gave as good as they got. Move on its Rugby League, not touch rugby or football.
good luck for the rest of the Play-oFFS
