Looked all locked up to me, but I left after the final whistle.
The afternoon for me didn't get off to the best of starts, I never feel comfortable in BD postcodes (only just found out it doesn't stand for Brain Dead) and when I found my fish and chips were cold and wrapped in the Telegraph and Argos I knew my day was going down hill.
A very good first half, Queensbury playing down hill, and it is a slope, were winning 8 6 at half time. It was quite obvious that was not enough. Slowitt ran away 40 points to 8.
Lee, alias Urbancarrott did not recognise me and if I hadn't noticed his highlights before the game I would have though they were touches of grey after the match.
Enjoyed it, blimey it's cold up there.

Certainly had a busy day John! Plenty blood spilt. Thought the game changed when they brought on their ex bulls half back and current swinton full back

Haha Hawkyard ! They did the same in the summer league with Marlon Billy.
I understand Greetland went to Ponty with only 12 men including two forwards & still managed to nudge a win. Stags & Whitehall both had good wins again too.

I don't mind ex pro's going and playing amatuer as long as they are not ued as ringers for certain games etc... Its only my personal opinion the lads didn't really say much but when you have a tight game like yesterday to throw on a current professional is a little naughty I think. The game was 8-6 with 20 minutes to go and they throw on richie hawkyard. Game finished 36-10.. It is not right, especially when you know come the second week in November these players won't be playing!

They do it every year, come back end of season they will be very average and their A team will also suffer as they will have to make numbers up in first team.

Lee,
With not being familiar with that division I had no idea whether one team or another had "ringers" in.
The problem seemed to be down your right wing, I'm pretty sure that's where their late tries came.
Queensbury certainly have some good players, obviously I don't know their names but to me 13, 7 and the old lad at 8 (don't tell him) and the player who got a bad lip and nose.
As i say of every game I watch Rugby League is the toughest sport in the world at whatever level.
Incidentally my Grandson, Stephens lad won opposition man of the match, man of the match and try of the match this morning for KCP under 8's.
Good luck to Queensbury for the rest of the season.

No game for him tomorrow Colin, has to go to a Christening? He's not happy, Dad's not happy, Grandad certainly ain't happy but to be fair friends are friends. What is the world coming to.?
KCP at home today, excellent win for Park they seem to be getting a settled side now. Spoilt at the last 10 mins or so. Big punch up which kept rearing up until the end. Blimey 70 mins of big hit's and for some unknown reason one tackle and it kicks off. Well done to the ref two yellow cards to the main participants (which ended their day) when to be fair a red to both could have been given.
But as I always say, whatever level Rugby League is the toughest game in the world.
Well done to both sides.

| Siddal lost in their big game up at Wath Brow, does anyone know if they get another go, or is that it ?
Greetland & Stainland both lost away from home in division 3.

| For those wanting some RL there's the British Police versus Blackbrook Royals ( St. Helens ) in the 2nd round of the challenge cup at Siddal 2pm ( i think ) kick off today.
It looks like Jon Hamer might have sorted the venue for this fixture in his role of team manager, I had a good chat with him the other week at the Fax past players dinner & the Police have got some very good payers in their squad.

Like it, have to drop Grandaughter off at Greetland community centre at 1.45 and pick her up at 4.00. Plenty of time to get up to Siddal. I love it when a plan comes together.
Up the Police.
