One thing is for certain. Fev AS A CLUB will bounce back from any one or more defeats.

There are two many dedicated people there to let them slip for long which just means that there will be some more shall we say very competative games ahead for all to enjoy.

I do believe there will be faxcar. Fax have the right to crow and enjoy a bloody good battering of the champions. But you know as well as I do that a season that has seen fax hammer the champions and come within a second or two from defeat t London Skolars will throw up plenty more twists.

Absolutely correct, I honestly do not know how some clubs not only survive but still put out a competative side with crowds of just over 1000 speccies or in some cases just a few hundred.
At Fax even with their long tradition in the game I can think of people, well into double figures, old and young who used to go with me to games for years and loved there rugby league who have just drifted away, I would not have believed it.
What is worrying, even upsetting is that a heartland club that has been successfull and competative and has played some attractive rugby league at this level has lost so much support and if they have a bad season or two on the pitch could well see the numbers drop even more and slowly drift away.

Whilst I think the club could do more to try target new fans the biggest problem with RL is that lots of people who know the sport think it is run by bafoons and boycott the whole game as a result. Sounds daft but is so true honest, they think its a good game but won't support it as its become a 'joke' especially with the Franchise system.

Has anyone noticed that attendances aren't being posted anywhere - not that I can find anyway.

The attendance is announced at the game, but they're nowhere to be seen after the game...

It was the Rams attendance that made me think about this - I wanted to see how we'd fared through the season so far.

I can't see anything on Sky Sports?

Not sure of anything now, but if we want to tick the 2,500 average attendance, we'll need another "Halifax Show" to help us out. Fax vs Leigh later in the season (given it's looking like Fax, Fev and Leigh for the top spots at the mo' - yes, this can change!) would have resulted in a much higher attendance (on a sunny Sunday afternoon).

Btw, we can knock the round ball game as much as we like, but a consistent circa 15,000 crowd for Huddersfield Town in Div 1 is pretty impressive...

Well there is an element of that in there and I will give and take points scoring across the fora as it's intended - with light heartedness and a smirk on me face!

But to suggest I relish in Morro's injury or any other player who pulls on a RL shirt for our entertainment is quite daft... I don't relish owt of the sort and in that manner you did indeed get my post wholly wrong. No mind. All cool.
