| Do the RFL think that all Rugby League supporters are as disorganised as themselves?? 2 Weeks notice is ridiculous, these fixtures were published 6 months ago, and naturally people have made plans for the weekend.
After a trip to Toulouse, York is the most attractive prospect of a weekend activity for an away fixture.
I live and work in York, based the with the Army, had booked a room in our Warrant Officers Mess for a few friends to come over and enjoy a night out then go to the game. All pointless now. And to top it off, I'm away on a course all that week and not back till the Friday night!! So will miss the game.
Thank you very much RFL and SKY TV!!!

| I was also looking forward to this game!
as soon as the fistures were released, like most fans who travel away, we ear marked this as a 'day trip out'
2 weeks notice is daft! and as for James do that night aswell i feel sorry for him and the organisers!

Leigh is a small town in Wigan MBC same size as Dewsbury & Batley.
Featherstone is a street in Normanton with a similar population as Elland (wiki'd it)
Barrow has dodgy floodlights & is a logistical problem for Sky.
Toulouse is a no-go for Sky.
][sizeBatley & Dewsbury made up of swathes of council estates & slum terrace housing (ie. No Sky Sports TV in most homes!)[/size
Hunslet a suburb of Leeds]
Sheffield a football city.
Widnes SL next year.
So it would make sense Fax v Widnes & York v Fax will attract the most viewing figures & higher viewing figures are more favorable to TV advertisers.'"
I bet youre one of the ones who wonder why so many supporters from Batley and Dewsbury despise Halifax so much, me personally i like Halifax but could soon change my opinion based on comments like that.

Strange Jeff, I've lived in Batley all my life and I can't for the life in me think where the 'slum' terrace houses you refer to are? There are terrace house, granted, but I can't think where these 'slums' are?!
Perhaps you're a just geographically challenged jerk-off and are mistaking Batley and Dewsbury for Mixenden and Ovenden respectively?

Apologies, was just responding in the heat of the moment.
There's a guy who attends the gym I go to who owned a convenience shop in Ovenden for years - little bald headed, moustacheoed geezer called Tim. Id say he's about 60. A right character. Ever come across him?

Ealand Road, Ealand Ave, on the Wilton Estate.
Not sure what the point being made is, just thought I'd throw in a little geography.

Now Fieldhead, Chickenley or Dewsbury Moor, theres eholes for you, almost approaching the levels of eholeness that Mixenden alludes to, that place needs to be pushed into the Reservoir to clean it up

agree with you there on those as hated working on those estates. but not the areas as a whole, just certain parts.
same goes for mixenden, flats and few parts of the top end are eholes. as the last few nights have proved.
