Agree with this, I think the comments came from a few old farts stood behind us-you get those moaners at every ground. Im sure the mascot didnt mean any bad, it was just very unfortunate timing on his part. Said on our board that Turley was the problem the game got heated today, both players didnt have a clue with some of his decisions, he appears to lack any authority, I think Halifax and Sheffield deserve a better ref than him.

Turley & his T/J's had an awful match today. Mitch Stringer despite my wishes for him to be sent off proved to be a winner for Halifax with his indiscipline and persistent penalties.
It's a good job Sheffield were so poor today, but we ground out a win with a cobbled together side, I keep saying it on here, this team have spirit.
Gannon had his best game of the season today by far, maybe we need scruffy games for him to be at his rugged best.

They had sold out 5 minutes before ko at the South Stand end (again), I was told they had only given the programme seller 80. The reason apprently is because they are not selling many and get too many spares left, well they will if they don't give the largest part of the crowd enough, a bit daft if you ask me.
Come on lets get it right, if you sell about 1 per 10 fans then surely the South Stand needs about 100 at least, probably 150? Lost income imo.

Its a win, it was a dour game with too much niggle, we played it safe and that probably won us the game although we lacked a cutting edge, they did more damage to us but we hung in and due to their ill discipline we nicked it. We tackled a lot better so getting there.
I will take a scruffy win like others have said, we need to start climbing the league.
