Went to a fair few Fax games that year. Seeing Pearson watching relegation officially confirmed from his wheelchair is one of the saddest things I've seen in twenty odd years of watching rugby league.
Heading up from London for the game, hope we stuff you but doubt it will be a blowout. Looking forward to it but with healthy trepidation.

| A good tie. Will get sleeping fax fans through the gate, shame the steam pigs don't have to pay though.
On the other hand, let's calm down a bit. We will get smashed, here's hoping it won't be live on tv!

| According to Bubba on FCHT forum, capacity will be enough for this one without the north stand. The drugs must really be taking hold now! Some of the other knuckle-draggers don't think it will even be necessary to open the Skircoat. I despair.

| I don't expect the North Stand to be open all season, even when Huddersfield play here. There should be sufficient room though with the Skircoat open. Bradford fans will outnumber us. Attendance 5000 if BBC game, 7000 if not.

| Think we'd be looking at 8,000 for this game. Costs nothing for the majority of Bulls fans and it's such a short trip. It depends how their season is going at that point - and ours too. If we're both winning - great. If we're both struggling, then not so great.

I seem to be a little more optimistic than you. I think it's likely to be a sellout either way. Most of the Bradford fans will get in free, less tan 10 miles to travel, local derby/old rivals and no self respecting Fax fan would miss this one.

| Couple of things, well a few actually
When did this stupid rule about season tickets covering cup games come in, its gonna screw smaller clubs left right and centre, remove it now you RFL dweebs.
There will be many Bulls fans who dont have tickets who come and watch aswell as too will many Fax who dont have season tickets, Fax can still expect a bumper day, just not as bumper as in days gone by.
I see no reason why we cant make this a cracking game and cause an upset or at worst convert a load of fairweather fans to the cause.
Its a perfect tie for us, just what the club needs to continue to bolster its portfolio. We are not going to win the cup, much better that have these games than go out to Harlequins away etc.

Yes mate
Beer Sales, shirt sales, burger sales, golden gamble sales, programme sales, corporate sales, match sponsorship, media exposure, and by crikey a chance of a cracking game and great advertising, stop being negative, some people

When the RFL pressed the alarm button for dwindling Challenge Cup attendances.

What a fantastic business strategy they have there dwindling crowds = less money for clubs, lets bring in a new strategy that brings in even less money Just proves what muppets they are. The BBC coverage doesnt help, Claire Balding, Brian Noble and Wobbie? come on.
Cant wait though..

38361.jpg IF YOU WANT TO WIN IT YOU'VE GOT TO EARN IT.
DESIRE AND PASSION FOR 80 MINUTES.
COME ON FAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:38361.jpg |

| One problem if the game is televised, where would the tv cameras go? When Sky show us, they build their studio in the Skircoat Stand and take it over, what would the BBC do? Might be better not being on tv and getting the maximum crowd capacity up.

| yeah it would drop 3-4k off the crowd, and whilst tv money may be one thing, we really need to get people in on the day, to see with there own eyes what we like.

BBC could put cabins for studio ect by the grass between the skircoat and southstand. BBC also use different camera positions to sky usually so wouldn't be too much of a problem

| I reckon the Leeds v Crusaders will be the TV tie being all Super League and some much needed national PR for Crusaders.
