A bit like your online petition. I was reeling you in and you took the bait. Seriously though i would like to see Widnes and Fax in Superleague.The RFL have probably already made up their minds, and i think they will use Widnes as a benchmark for the criteria.Set up a u15s,u16s and u18s academy then you will be in Superleague.In the years to come i think they want more british players coming through, so we can compete better with Australia.Anyway i am confident Widnes will be in the top 3 this year.

No excuses as i am confident more this year.Players will be playing for a Superleague contract. Well i hope you get an U15s,U16S and u18s academy, as you need it to tick all boxes like the criteria is set out.

We were stopped from doing that by the RFL. We had a scholarship set up which would have moved up to the next level, and at the end of that season they would move up to the next level all the while a new scholarship would have started every year. So we would have had all these teams. But, no. The RFL decided we must have them all at once instead of a progressive program.

Great comments on the petition from Joe Collins (presume from Ovenden?) about the club being proposed as anchor tennents for the proposed development up there. Just what Fax need.

Can the club make this the Welcome page to the official site so the graphic links to the petition or something? Just so it's always there, sometimes postings drop down the news feed on blogs etc or people have so many friend on Facebook that Halifax's feed doesn't show on their homepage (we've all seen them, people with 400+ 'friends', their feeds must be hectic! ).

Just an idea. Everyone that uses this website or looks online at the fax website has probably signed the petition. Why not get out in town on a saturday base at a shop somewhere and have a little table set up with a back fax campaign signs and banners make yourselves unmissable and get people to sign up to paper copies as not everyone has the internet or an email address. You could even have a laptop set up incase they do and get it done online. Also if people do have email addresses but sign the paper copy key them on to the petition later. Get Halicat running round town with a big back the bid sign etc...

I have not signed it, as I think the rfl have already made the decision.
