| Toulouse should be no where near super league until it has been demonstrated that Les Catalan are producing home grown players of the right quality, and the French produce a competitive national side. Otherwise, all the RL are doing is giving another 17 journeymen Aussies a job.
Whilst I'd obviously love to see us back in Super League, it seems inevitable that the powers at be have given Widnes the nod for the next round of franchises. I can't say I'm too bothered. These last 3 seasons have been great - going to matches where you know there is a chance you'll win, but that it will be a competetive game, playing traditional teams in grounds that have atmosphere (unlike most of the sterile venues where SL is played). The Championship is a great competition and next year looks like it will be even tighter with several teams with a realistic chance of winning.
The powers at be may say I am stuck in my ways, but what they are doing is not working. Only 4 teams have ever won Super League (in fact I think with the exception of Hull once, only those same 4 teams have actually made the grand final) and our international team have again showed that Super League does not have the intensity levels required to produce players that can compete with Australia and NZ. They need to find a way that produces a genuinely competetive Super League, and they are kidding themselves if they think this will be achieved by creating artificial teams in areas with no grassroots.

Why all this 'it has to be Toulouse' rubbish???
They have not ticked any boxes apart from one, they are not near another SL club.
Toulouse is a RU stroghold and the wrong place to even try a RL team, plus Catalans are hardly pulling up trees these days and as for helping the French national team?
They lost to ....................................... Wales (full of second and third rate Aussies plus some second rate Englishmen!)
For Crusaders read Toulouse in 5 years or less time going bust they would not be sustainable, a word Fat Controller needs to get into his thick skull.

I have never agreed with how the RFL have looked after the expantionist clubs I have never followed Fax to Wales or Tolouse and never would.I am hopeing that the next time we are playing against Tolouse away we can set up an enjoyable event where Fax fans staying at home, can do so together and at the same time make some money for the Faxbuilder fund.
I would never let the RFL push me out of supporting my own club ,it has hapened too much where people have walked away because of the RFL.
Ralph Rimmer whilst Chief Exec at Sheffield supported the merger with Huddersfield and blamed the fact that it didn`t work on another Sheffield team being allowed to start up.He said " as instead of Sheffield people traveling up to watch Shuddersfield they were staying in Sheffield and continuing to watch Sheffield. He just did not get it , this is the man they have brought in to oversee the franchising and he can`t grasp that people walk away from the game rather than watch a "manufactured side". The man is a Patsy of the first order.'"
I fully understand and support this idea , I did go to Toulouse in 2009 , and it was quite ironic to have the following week fans who had quite happily spent £ 5/600 on the trip moaning about the extra 50 p for a beer at the LSV compared to the local pubs , especially as the cost in France was almost double , including 5 euro's at the stadium
I guesstimated that the fans that first year [ we took around 250 ] spent close to 100 K , a fairly decent amount of money , more in fact that some will have spent watching the other 17 games that year
The power of the p155 up should never be underestimated , the RFL fully understand it

Well the 4 teams are just what Maurice Lyndsy intended when he brokered the deal with Sky. I remember him saying in years to come he envisaged a Super Super League 4 teams from Gt Britain 2 from France then the rest of the division made up from Australia and New Zealand. They would play half there games here then fly to Southern hemisphere and play the rest When he said it I thought he was mad, now I think it will happen just not for a while.
Wouldn`t it be nice if Crusaders did happen to go bust if the Championship clubs could just refuse to take them.

Now there is were I disagree , as long as everything was clear and transparent , I'd happily see them in the Championships
Then again , clear , transparent and RFL dont actually go together do they

| Its a great way to do business, run up loads of debt, fold, then relaunch, i we wonder why the UK is in such a mess!
So many teams including our own are stuggling with money, i wonder is it time for players and coaches to stop being paid silly amounts of cash! lol like that is ever gonner happen!
(iam not saying all players are overpaid, this is quite clearly not the case, however some, are just being greedy, but then again who can blame em if some daft club is willing to sell their sole!)

| Sold its soul many years back, this wonderful endeavour the fat one has us on, will more than likely follow the UK Basketball and Ice Hockey systems of Administrations, relaunches, rebadging, Sugar Daddys and owners coming and going perpetually, stability my rear, they will continue to try to hoodwink people into believing things are getting better and better by sticking close by Major sponsors and only having people on TV who are generally 'On side' with the Farce. Wood and Lewis dont answer to anyone which is the real scandal, and the SL bosses are on the Gravy train. Stinks!

It surely is a sad indictment of the british business system. Why should a company actually have to meet its debts when it can just run up as much debt as it wants, go bust and then set up again?
If a rugby club goes into administration the RFL penalise them by deducting them 9 points for the season. What penalty will they apply when a club runs itself into the ground??
Would the RFL have the same view if Blackpool just go bust and set up again the next day????
Is there any wonder that people have severe doubts about the way the british rugby league is run?????

| Corrupt to the core! Thats the RFL. Welsh Crusaders and Quins cost the game money are run as pathetically as any club in the game and are allowed to get away with it. The RFL "Helped" Quins and then changed the rules straight after. And looks like the RFL will turn a blind eye to the way Crusaders are run. Widnes, Keighley, Doncaster etc were deducted 9 points. Crusaders should be dropped in to the Championship and allowed to build properly.
Nigel "No Morals" Wood once again shows how useless he is. Why should the RFL be funding SL Clubs? How can they be seen to be Fair and Neutral to all clubs with such actions? Why one rule for Expansion clubs and one rule for others? How much is it costing the RFL to keep Crusaders going? Why are Blackpool allowed to die but Crusaders not? The likes of Richard Lewis and Nigel Wood should be forced to answer the questions instead of changing the goal posts all the time to suit there dreams.

| In 8 years time they can call themselves [iWrexham Thirteen[/i.
For obvious reasons.
Super League? There's nothing "super" about it. I remember Viz running a joke advert: Franklin Mint "Exclusive Dog's Egg" collectables. That's what Super League is becoming. It appears that you can in fact polish a turd.

| Haven't got a link to Chapter 101, but reading the rugby press today, it looks like Crusaders will be going into administration (leaving creditors unpaid) this week.
New Company W Crusaders formed on 20th October?????!!!!!! registered address of Geoff Moss. Pre-meditated and I wonder if all those Welsh fans who have shelled out for season tickets will have them honoured. In a word...disgraceful
