Fax and Fev will get 7,000 tickets between them and then whatever number either side that may choose to go through the RFL so neither club will out number the other by more than 500 if that. Championship 1 will still get 3,000, then the rest for the 3rd tier game and sponsors/neutral. If anyone will be the suprise package attendance wise it'll be York if they get there. The folk of York are fickle like that and will come out for big games....so i've heard

I dont want to get into who will bring the most fans but i am sure there will be 4500-5000 Fev fans there next week. With your crowd the other week i would of thought you would also bring that amount of fans at least .

To be honest i dont care how many of the fans are there just lets hope for a good game a good bit of banter and i hope the Rovers win that will make my day.

26 busses full so far - and the numbers are still coming in. these are actual real figres. Not some sceptical figures that some fax posters to this board are inferring.

The length of the queue last night (I'm reliably informed - I was at the shay) for tickets solely for the game [as opposed to ticket+transport] was of a similar length,

I don't make daft rash predictions. 5k is a minimum estimate for me!!! the requests for more tickets is phenominal. It doesn't surprise me - it's always been this way!!!

The attendance was the only disappointment last night, I thought there would be about 2k myself.
Where was the other 500 or so? Its weird how we take about 700 to Fev then the week after only have 1400 fans so basically 50% of our support from last night went to Fev.
I guess that turnout last week meant some people could not do this week plus on paper it was a tonking so may have put those who did not see it off. It was also Sheffield who no offence are not a draw like Widnes, Leigh or currently Fev are they?Plus its pay, pay, pay in the Play Offs.

Plus despite what our friend from Sheffield put they brought about 90 tops, I saw their coach land at 7.25pm, I only saw about 20 or 30 of their fans already in the ground when I got in and am sure that was the only coach last night.

It happens look at the Wigan v Leeds crowd in the SL Play Offs last week less than 10K which was hugely down on the SL gate for the same teams. Wigan 'only' got 11K tonight with a good numer from Hull KR.
People pick and chose apart from the hardcore supporters which for us is the 1400 come hail, rain or shine.

How funny that the Eagle fans tries to laugh at Fax for a crowd when the Eagles struggle to get anywhere near 1000 fans for a game. Whan they do get a club like Fax who have a large away following the Eagles club cant cope and make a right mess of the situation. Eagles fans seem to be like Aston-full of crap. To be honest it's irrelevent how many supporters either team take. it's what happens on the pitch that counts.
Ticket sales are going well as you would expect for a final but neither team benefit financially whether there are 10000 supporters from each club or 10 because the gate money goes into the RFL and not to the clubs.
I just hope that fans of both clubs have a good time and get behind their team to create a fantastic atmosphere and whatever the result respect each other before during and after the game.

I agree with Fax4life's comments, I perposely didn't order my Old Trafford tix for this season's SL GF, working on the assumption that we had a very good chance of raching our own GF again and not really fancying forking out for both GF's in the same pay bracket.
So, instead of driving a car full this year to Warrington, I intend going on a bus & having a day on the beers which I would normally do at the SL premiere event, which quite honestly has become a bit stale I.M.O. as a paying spectator. Maybe if two different sides got there it would be a little different, but the trip I usually go on ( amateur club trip ) has been sat with the poor losing Saints fans and there's been crowd trouble in our section in the upper tier of the Stretford end for the last two years, and lot's of it. Not exactly something you want when you're on a trip with loads of juniors in your party.
I hope this year's GF at Warrington is as good an occassion as last year and they order more beer & food to be able to keep their outlets open for the whole of the event, people pay good money to get to these events and were prepared to spend even more had they been able to last season.
For anyone who didn't go, or drive last season, the car parking situation is pathetic at the Halliwell Jones stadium, that's another reason why bus travel is looking favourite at the moment.
I hope to meet up with my mate from Fev, them lads do love to shovel the ale down their necks !
