3 Points and helps with goal difference apart from that not too many positives. Is Black injured ??? If he isn't he is half the player he was last year. Bowman isn't good enough yet to hold down a spot in a NL1 team would loan him out if we had sufficient cover. Paterson, Royston, Haley had decent games. Toulose were woeful and I think if we put in a performance like that against Keighley we could struggle.

First well done Fax and Calland. To score 50 and only let in 6 takes hard work from both players and coach even if Toulouse were not the best. However my views remain the same. One good game does not mean the problems of Poor Discipline, Poor Tactics, Poor Ball control and poor defence etc are away. Matt prove to me and the others that you can turn this team around. A solid performance against Keighley is a must. Still much hard work to do and many will still want to see your skills as a coach against much tougher opponents. but well done Calland and players.

Black's got a bust pinky. I think you're a little over critical of Black and Bowman. There were still some dodgy passes but on the whole they were made when they should have been. Black kept his head a little more and Bowman was a little indecisive at times but some in some decent kicks and attacking runs. Tackled well as well for his size. He has great potential and I think it's right he gets game with us.

You're having a laugh at Bowman aren't you ? The lad looks solid in contact and classy with the ball, runs at the line when it's the best option, he's going well in my opinion.

I don't think he can stand up mentally and physically every week in this league yet

Has he started a number of games against tough opposition yet where he has been under pressure to pull the strings like Black and Branighan are every week. He is decent in defence and a decent size i didn't mean physically, I'm sorry but if I was told to pick a stand-off for playing a game against Barrow/Widnes I would choose all of these above him:

Branighan
Gene
Beswick

It's nurturing talent, when else could we play him ? Be fair to him and the coaches will you please.

That was my original point if we had cover I would like him to be nurtured elsewhere, where he doesn't have as much pressure on him and can get more of the ball as Black and Penky are very dominant

Rochdale, Oldham, Hunslet ? Where do you mean ?

He's got loose forward written all over him for my money in a few year's time.

We all know he's down the pecking order for first pick, but he's getting an opportunity now. He wasn't out of place at Fev.

Thought he had one of his poorer games for us today. Couple of good tackles though, especially the one where he put the guy in touch after missing the original tackle. Think people expecting a bit too much from him too soon. Its obvious he is going to be good, you can tell that from the amount of time he seems to have on the ball. Hes got loose forward written all over him now.
