Jees why are we all getting excited. Glees signed a two year contract cos he wanted to stay. If he was entertaining the idea of moving on he wouldn't have signed. End of it all far as I'm concerned. Can we lock this?

Agree Wiggy. Gleeson was only supposed to play for Fax originally as a stop gap until he signed Super League again, but enjoyed his time with Fax so much he wanted to stay. So why in gods name he'd want to sacrifice his happiness to move to Barrow I have no idea!

And I've said this before and I'll say it again. Barrow, as well as Whitehaven and Workington, will find it very difficult to entice decent players up that neck of the woods. It'll mean having to up sticks or driving a 300 mile round journey. And joking apart, would YOU want to live in Barrow? Even the thought makes me feel queezy!

And I suppose Halifax is the most beautiful area in England ??

How harsh? When he's being moved around every match, from 6 to 9 to 7 back to 6 then to 9, sometimes in the space of one game, it must be hard to get some form in, then he's getting stick from his own set of fans, as captain!

I still maintain that if he plays at 9, coming off the bench, Penky is our best player and one of the best in our division, he can change games in the blink of an eye. Hopefully the signing of Branighan will mean we will never see Penky at 6 again and see him in his best position of 9.
