| You can tell by the frantic "rabbit in the headlights" responses that I definitely AM right, I'M NOT WRONG!

You won't get many people saying that he doesn't talk bollox but all coaches talk bollox. It must be part of the coaching badges that they do.
But even you cannot deny that Widnes have come on leaps and bounds under Cullen and if we hadn't you guys would have been in the Northern Rail Cup final (and most probably won it).

| As an out and out Fax fan, I am not going to comment on Widnes' early season problems, all Cullen has done is to make you perform to yours and most peoples pre season expectations.
Has he really improved them, or just made them play to their potential?
Either way, it has made the seasons end much more exciting and it is up to Fax to maintain their levels through to the end and allow us to get 'the tick in the box' that I'm sick of hearing this week.

| Whatever anyone says, 'Fax really could have done with winning that Cup in support of our promotion drive but we know inside that we really did win that day despite the attrocious refereeing display and Blacky inexplicably dropping the ball with the winning try beckoning.
Enjoy the 'false' dawn Widnes.
and Cullen does indeed talk absolute bollux and drivel. I think the part of his brain that processes logic, reason and language never actually grew.

At the risk of sounding arrogant, Halifax and Barrows only chance of making SL in 2012 was to prevent Widnes from winning the NR Cup or getting to a grand final. To that end Halifax and Barrow have failed. I'm not saying Widnes are nailed on for 2012, far from it, but the threat will come from Toulouse and a to a lesser extent Gateshead.

I would agree with this post completely
Widnes are the only realistic SL club in the Championships at the moment
Until we ,you and others can match what they have both on and off the pitch we are all going to be dissapointed

| There's too much time to pass before anything is decided. Yes, under normal "trading", Widnes are red hot favourites because they're there off the field IMO, BUT, what happens if between now and mid-2011 Halifax lift two GF's, an NRC and appear in a Challnge Cup final? Bear with me .......... What would the RFL do in the face of such an impressive performance and faced with having to choose between Widnes, Toulouse and Halifax? It's fanciful stuff but the point i'm making is that on-field dominance (if it occurs) by one club ouside of the two fancied license favourires would present the RFL with a headache. We're not ready yet, i appreciate that but it took a heartbeat for the Widnes bubble to burst into adminstration and it took a couple of weeks in intensive care for them to be back into contention. A big money backer to come in at Fax is the weapon of my choice within the next 12 months

Oh dear Mr Littlerich, how naive you are! The RFL won't give a toss who performs the best, they've probably decided already who's gonna be part of the new set up.

God, this is soooooooo 2008. Yawn.
That's the usual hysterical guff posted on here by flatcappers. Despite what people percieve the RFL of plotting, they wouldn't ignore a club that, for example, has won two GF's, an NRC and appeared in a Challenge Cup final - all within two and a half years. Yes, it's trendy to bash the stupidity of the RFL and it's easy to surmise that they're going to replace all Northern clubs with Southern and foreign ones but such fears are rabid and illogical. Even if there was any drop of truth in it, Celtic's recent plea for help will have kept their "Hitler style" expansion into foreign territory in check.

| You both love each other, really. We can all feel the love from here.
Put your dummies back in and wind in those necks.
