I wanted a home draw, my first choice would have been Fev but then Widnes so happy with that, maybe on current form Widnes are the poorest of the teams left?
At least we should see a few away fans and Widnes draw a few more being who they are than the others, even now with the team they have!

Funny how this year all the teams are from the top 4, yet last year you had a NL2 team and Batley in the semis.

It's such a pity that the team gave up before the Batley game

It was allways going to be a tough draw so I was just hoping for a home 1 (A trip up to Barrow on a Thursday night would have been a disaster) and we got that but if we Underestimate Widnes our final dream will be over. We are 80 minutes away from a final so it should be a decent crowd, good atmosphere and a cracking match.

I think Widnes at home is definately the best possible draw.

Fax are through to the final and we wont take many fans because we are .I wont be going to see us get battered.If we was playing like your team or barrow then we would take alot of fans.Good luck in the final halifax.Your easily the best team and deserve it.

Look =blue**** I stand by everything I said on the Leigh board about Widnes. Cullen is a poor coach as he has made little difference at Widnes and his record at Wire is hardly great! Your defence is poor-even your own fans admit that and you can hardly say Hall or Penny are any good at defending!! I have not said your chairman will walk out on you but you keep making things up its OK. The Favourite in our sport normally win BUT if you under estimate a team they can turn you over like when Hunslet beat Huudersfield in the cup for example. Players can think they just have to turn up and ANY team in this division is capable of beating any other if they get their act together. Favourites are Fax by a long way but that does not mean we will automatically win as anything can happen over 80 minutes.

I was assuming Fev will be playing Sunday as well and will have to travel all the way up there on a Thursday without much support.

Widnes are offering free coach travel to The Shay Fortress to season ticket holders and discount rate of 3 quid to non-ticket holders. The interesting bit is that the coaches themselves are sponsored for £250 a chuck which I thought was quite interesting. Surely more people through the gate, then a larger gate receipt to share? Would it be of any benefit to us in league games (apart from the obvious vocal support)? I think it's a cracking idea.
