| Christ Alex Brown is not one of the fastest wingers in the league - he plays reasonably well (but inconsistantly)in a poor Batley side and scores against Whitehaven who are in the running for relegation. He was was out of his league at Hull, Leigh and Halifax and he was given plenty of opportunity to make progress until frankly it was embarrassing. Don't be suggesting he comes back.
We all know why Worrincy had to go so let's not keep raking that over

Quite simply because they weren't good enough!

Agree - nearly spat my tea out at the idea that Alex Brown is one of the fastest wingers in the league.

I've always admired Worrincy, Charlie, but I agree that he had a nightmare yesterday. He couldn't seem to catch the ball at all. Still, all players are entitled to an 'off day', I suppose.

Probably typical of our luck, all he had to was drop 1 of 3 against us and we'd have won.
As for Brown, in terms of quick, we should have got him out quicker as he looked poor in every game for us and a couple of tries against poor opposition made him look reasonable at the very best.mhechas scored against us when under KH, but that say nowt to me.

Alan I always refer to Worrincy as the Worrier, but if look at my old posts you will see I am also a fan of his, he just had a off day yesterday,he did score 3 tries last week though .

| With the right attitude I think Worrincy could have played SL, his biggest weakest, a poor pair of hands, you can work on that but some players are willing to go that extra mile and they will reap the rewards others are not. You only have to look at Tangata, he didnt look like he could catch a cold in his early games, HalifaxJohn and a few others wanted him sending home. He put in extra time on the training pitch with the help of the coaching staff and it is paying off and his MOM performance against a SL side was just reward for that extra work.

I am notsurewhy you have to bring me into it.
At no time did I want to "send" him home.
Someone referred to him as an expensive water carrier and I merely repeated it once.
Credit to him and the coaching staff for preserving.
Wish Matt Pace would have stayed as I think we would, like Tangata, have seen the best of him had he not got home sick and totally unable to cope with the weather.

| On Tangata, I've had him in my 3 MoM's for the last few weeks, mhechas tackled just about everything and his confidence is growing when taking the ball up. Really pleased to see him being rewarded for his hard work.
Well done Adam, and the coaching staff for sticking with him.

Good man B, I was going off what the flash RL scores were saying where it had just "Brown" as the scorer and forgot about his namesake James.
If RM doesn't want him for the second year of his contract and Alex agrees then Batley may keep him.

| Whitehaven, by their own admission were worse than utter 5h1t3. Brown gets a couple of walk ins & its why did we let him go out on loan.
Just look at his career - looks good against poor sides for Batley. Hull K R, Leigh & us send him back to Batley on loan.
Get outta the Harrison mantra of "All that are at my brothers Batley are world class" & get into the real world. Rhino came here & gave his brother some top players & in return loaded us up with very average players.
No way did Brown deserve a 2 year contract & we may end up stuck with him next season preventing Marshall from signing another Salts/Maneeley
