According to sum clueless idiot (initials KH) on Radio Leeds, the players tried their hearts out today. That's why in 2003 I watched every game and today I lasted 36 mins before boredom and frustration drove me to bar where I chatted to 2 player sponsors and a diehard fans.

The club would have been foolish not to have promoted today's game and the revenue from today will have really helped the finances. I wish they would promote every home game in the same way and create the level of excitement that they did today.
Today the game didn't go our way but realistically there will always be one winner and one loser. We might might have missed out on the £250000 but we have to start building our revenues and today showed that we can do it

Unfortunately not, cos for the 36 mins I was on terracing those we'd attracted definitely weren't coming back for a while and in the bar we had our hardcore supporters saying similar. Then we've got a governing body that has to produce an explanation of next seasons structure for it's existing fans.

Never looked like getting even near to a result and it tells us where we are, 3rd at best, having lost every game against the top two there's no argument.
I bet many of us aren't too surprised that we lost but I for one am surprised by the gap that still exist between the top two and us.

I would say everyone agrees with the first half of your post however , I saw people down there today that I havn`t seen in some time and I would think a good many will not be back . It`s such a shame for the Club ,fans and players as for the last few matches they seemed to have turned a corner.

I was thinking something similar, over 3000 there today for the first time in a long time.
Fev of course were well supported but against Barrow in 3 weeks time it will be nearer 1000, they won't bring many and there will be a lot of home support that will likely stay away.

1,300 at Leigh today. That's how hard it is. Things may change next year with the new comp but clubs still have to work really hard to get the fans in. It's a struggle.

If clubs find it hard in this league how do clubs run a pro team in champ 1 on crowds of a few hundred We complain but I'm glad my club isn't one of the 5 going down
