Obviously you boys are the team to beat this year having spent umpteen years trying to get out of NL1

So for this reason you have the experience as a squad over Barrow. On paper you should win but your over confidence about how this season will pan out somewhat pleases me because you are under estimating Barrow already.



Like iv'e said i am looking forward to some good matches between the 2 clubs (hopefully the first being the NRC final )

Why would the "boffins" want a Widnes V Fax final,what have these two teams got that is so much better than the other teams.Widnes for one have been far from impressive this year.



You must stop believing your own press I am confident that both these teams will lose to the other teams this season and no way are they head and shoulders above the rest.

Agree with Twitch. I can see us losing a couple of games as will Widnes. I think Barrow, Haven , Toulouse and maybe Gateshead will be the graveyard for many teams.

Halifax are part time with no reserves-Will that bite us?

Widnes seem to have internal problems and the team has not gelled yet-Will that continue?

Leigh, Haven, Fev, Toulouse and Barrow will be looking to upset Fax and especially Widnes at any given chance and all teams will lift themselves for these two. However Widnes and Fax have strength in depth which Barrow, Fev, Haven and Leigh do not. They may have some unknowns who turn out as good players but they do not have the experience and guile that Fax and Widnes have.

Its why this League for me is the best as there is no one team that really stands out and anybody in NL1 can beat the other especially in their home games. Its just a shame more people do not watch these games as its way better than watching Leeds and Saints run away with things in SL!

I said the boffins as come on we and Widnes are the 'fancied' teams plus probably the best supported or in the top 4 anyway.

I could come on here and spout anything about any team and it wont make a jot of difference to how the club approaches games and the performance of the team.

I will make sure in the future never to question any comment and only say great things about other teams in the league,and of course I was only joking I really think FAx will win every game and end the season with a points differance of 2000 for and 98 against.

Quotes like this always make me laugh. Whats it matter if us fans underestimate teams? Im sure the players wont be.

I think we are right to build ourselves up though because on evidence so far its plain to see we are one of the best sides in the league and on current form i would say we were the best.

Maybe last night was a bit of a reality check for the players but its good when our reality check ends up with a 50 -28 win when others have fallen short.
