Player exodus where Rich?If you mean at Leigh we always have a few players leave at the end of the season to improve our Squad ,and if we are in SL we will need a few additions to compete ,however if we don't get into SL at the end of the season we will still sign a few new players to improve ,thus making the BIG gap between us and Fax even wider still.  . |

This side of the Pennines not surprisingly there's a different report on what took place back then.
It goes something like this.
It was Millward that actually recommended them both to Fax in the first place.
As for trying to sign them for nothing Leigh were in trouble and were not in a position to offer them a new contract or maintain their pay packets that's why Stuart Donlan came to Fax.
Mickey Higham was incoming under the same conditions and a contract was in place with Fax but when RM went to Saints he nipped in with the counter offer which some viewed has him going back on his recommendation and being less than ethical.
The RFL were aware of the situation but after Mickey told Fax he wanted to go to Saints then all parties decided there was no point in arguing the case just as there is no point now, Leigh have their version, Fax have theirs.
The rest is factual history and Mickey has been a credit to the game ever since as was SD.

Can only see a Wakefield win here. Everything went Leighs way for them to beat Salford, just can't see them having the rub of the green again. If it had been at LSV then think Leigh might've edged it

| I've been in my Local Ladbrokes this morning and Leigh are off Scratch which surprises me very much,Wakey are SL and have home advantage so id make them favorites though not by much.My predictions are terrible at the moment , but I'm going for a score of Wakey 22 v Leigh 26,if we have to a Leigh win by a knockout . |
