That's 12 realistic alternatives to Karl and I'm sure more would make themselves known should the vacancy arise. We're definitely not stuck with what we've got it's just a case will the Directors act

You say this but Salford haven't won a game since Noble left.

Seriously , I wouldn't go for Noble , for me Ryan Sheridan would be OK , but would he come , that is the Question ?Again I think your Squad of players are not that Strong in depth , it happened at Leigh last season , but again with the exception of Leigh , there is not much between the rest of the Clubs in this League , I think the Seagulls are very thin on players , for me the Bullfrogs have gone , Dews are overated ,Fev not that special , and Donny again don't have a big Squad , you are still in the mix , but must start to win , I think you have a few away games on the trot now and must win them , its still there to play for .Charlie knows .

| I`m not commenting on wether Karl should go or stay as I don`t think it`s my call but if he was to go I might be inclined to ask Dunaman if he`d fancy it.

| Dunneman would be the best option all around. There was a lot of talk of him getting the full-time Canberra head coaching job last year after he did such a good job as caretaker.

| Eaton has just extended his deal at Hunslet and really I wouldnt want him. Dunnemann is employed by the NRL as well as having his own business in Australia and doubt he would come.
I would hope the club would look and advertize in Australasia as well as Europe and maybe ask people like Michael Hagan (Queensland Assistant Coach) or Brian Noble for help in finding the right person for the job. I feel Karl was a bad choice and was based on sentiment rather than him being the best person. I think I am right in saying Karl is contracted until the ned of the season. The club really needs to start looking now in my opinion for a new coach rather than at the end of the season. Be honest with Karl and say Thanks but you simply have not met our expectations as there is noway he should have his contract extended

As was I and we played 747896564959342567 times better rugby than we do now and we lost 20 odd games on the trot!
We played better Rugby under Faz and that's saying something!
I've been absent from here as I have from games for a while because I have become so disillusioned with the way we are playing and not interested at all in going to watch. If the people running the club honestly think people will continue to pay at least £15 to watch boring, predictable, soulless rugby at home and travel away to be served up more of the same then they are naive at best. There are a lot of loyal folk who are involved with the club as well as those that watch them who deserve much better but are frankly being ripped off by Harrison and his tactics this year (and last year if I'm being brutally honest).
This year is absolutely critical in terms of what kind of club Fax want to be in the future shake up of the game. Do we want to be challenging the best and return to our former glories or do we want to be also-rans? Miss out of the top two and we miss out on a massive chunk of cash ,which, if you want to believe the rumour stirrers we desperately need. To be honest, the way our crowds are dipping and have indeed dipped since the current regime have been in charge, the rumours might not be too far off the mark. People talked about the strength of Martin Hall and his recruiting, his major strength was the brand of rugby he, then later Calland implemented. Who would want to come play for Fax the way we are playing now? Not ones that can improve our team that's for sure, plus how long will the decent players we have want to stick around? Outsiders/neutrals will look at the table and think we are dong alright, it flattens us massively.
I may come across as being a bit doom and gloom and slightly unqualified as I haven't been to a game for 2 months, but I'm coming from going to pretty much every game throughout the country from the mid 1990s to last Summer when I started to get bored. I went to EVERY game in 2003 and I enjoyed those games infinitely more than I have the last 18 months. I went to near enough every game through the TA and Faz regime where people called for Faz's head for so called 'boring' rugby, it was a hell of a lot more enjoyable than what we've been served up recently. I don't even need to begin to talk about the Calland era as it's so blatantly obvious.
I've never in my life called for a Fax coach to go but I fear change needs to happen sooner rather than later.

| When Matt Calland was coach I attended an open evening where Karl then Batley Manager was one of the guest speakers. Someone asked him if he would like to coach Fax. His courteous response was "you have a coach, but one day, yes I would"
We have a coach now so why not extend that same courtesy until the post is vacant.
I'm not into this "I'm not going until he is gone" surely the club need the revenue to strengthen the team. Stay away and the money is not there to strengthen the squad IF a new coach is appointed.
We even have on another thread "I didn't go" but then he goes on to say what was wrong yesterday.
One bloke behind me said the players aren't fit, this coming from a bloke who looks like he couldn't lift a pencil.
Then this was followed up by another suggesting some players were more interested in Faxfit.
Boll2cks,
Come on, yes the wheels have fallen off, but they can be put back on very quickly, one thing for sure Fax still need OUR support.
I await
But hey, that's life.

So your the perfect person to judge?
You listen to others and judge?
Haven't seen a game for two months, haven't seen you moderating for longer than that.
Hang up yer boots.

| KH brought a number of new players in this season so some money must have been available. Brown has been moved on to Batley for some unknown reason when we were short of halves, other players keep getting dropped and we don't seem to have a stable starting lineup.
KH seems to fallout with players, Rettie has not been one of my favourites as a winger but last season was always in but this year can't seem to get a start. We
Lost Worrincey but have had to go and get Saxton on loan so does n't say much about the other players KH brought in.
Just seems to be a lack of a long term plan and any real cohesion week to week so how the players are going to gel is difficult to see.

HJ I admire your stance but for me due to my financial situation as a sole income household with 4 kids rugby for me is a luxury. I've supported them for 30 odd plus years and is something I pay for not just out of blind loyalty but enjoyment too. Professional sport is part of the entertainment industry and for me I can't see where our once great club delivers on this...... I've said it many times but KH is slowly killing the club with his brand of rugby. You only need to look at crowds to see this. I agree with Mike (Haighy) and what he says. Yes the club needs its fans, although some of the emails I've had from members of the BOD are poor at best. I fear for the club in its current state but whilst it has its head in the sand and in denial I'll not be dipping my hand in to spend my hard earned if I can put it to better use elsewhere.
