I think everyone realises that he was born in Leigh...but he is a Fax player through and through - why didnt he sign for you when he came back from his ban? He can always go back and play for his home town team at the end of his career after playing for a bigger club....like some Leigh born players do...  |

Luke Robinson is a Halifax Lad, Never played for us though, but surely with such High Calibre of Huddersfield Youth Players coming through (Tom Hemmingway ) then on the theory of some Leigh Fans, We must be getting Luke Robinson at some point.
Its all Bullocks, without paying massive wages why would Penky leave a winning team where he's settled? |

that brand new stadium you have once in all year.
we are going forwards the stadium is finally getting completed, we have some quality players and a good management and team and backroom staff that are taking care of things off the pitch.
our crowds have also been up this year than last. |

Why are we going nowhere? And I would rather stand still in a Stadium thats being developed each day than be going backwards in a big new stadium that you can cant even fill one stand most matches and that you are losing money on-good work.
And just because he is from leigh does not mean he will ever play for leigh. Plenty of players have never play for their home town club |

The truth is at this moment in time only Penky and a few others will know where he's playing next year. The last 2 years I think Penky has been the first to re-sign well before the season finishes, if we haven't heard that he's re-signed before the regular seasons finished it could be time to panic!

To be honest, In my mind, Im a bit worried that there havn't been any anouncements yet, it was early last week it was reported Fax were looking to tie down the key players, but with the anti-tampering deadline having passed, there havn't been any announcements yet. |

Why panic? if Penky does leave us so what. Yes he is a good player and it would be a shame to loose him. However it wouldn't be the end of Fax if he went, given the quality of player that M H and M C seem to be able to attract to the club i'm for one am confident we will have a great squad next season. |

we had this last year... he was going to sign as he could play in your great stadium... decided to stick with a club that gave him another chance, a club on the up, a club that will be challenging for honours. |

To look for a bigger challenge, once you have nailed your GF place/NR Cup win, that ensures your franchise application?!
Seriously, I fancy 'Fax are concentrating on this season, whilst quietly working towards building next season's squad.
Like I've said previously, you are worrying about who will sign up for next season, while we are still trying to complete this season's squad!!! |

Are they? I must have missed that one!
I think Penky won't leave Fax but if he does, it would be to a SL club. I really hope he stays though, we were the club that rescued his career after his two year ban and made him captain, I feel he owes us some loyalty. |

But Clay has made it perfectly clear that Penkywicz is going nowhere as Halifax build for the future.
