Black is a top notch super league standard player in my opinion. If we had an off half to direct the field position and turn the oppositions forward around continually he would come into his own. at the moment he doesnt have the space to play off the cuff cos our team is getting battered.When your game plan gets sussed out as ours has, it takes time to re adjust, unfortunately for us it looks like its a little late...watch this space for next season with a specialist number 6.............if we get one that is !

Penky isnt even a Championship 1 half back.

Wish Matt would see this & finally start him at hooker, get Gov or even Beswick in at 6 & allow Ben the chance to do the off the cuff stuff that he cant do if he's trying to organise things.

Far too many times tonight Penky ran the support into trouble by silly lines or stupid passes.

Ben is subdued as we are being beaten in the forwards. Look at the strike players that Barrow have in their 2nd row & sadly compare them against ours tonight.

Calland wont see it thought because he is a poor coach. IMHO in Penky and Gleeson we have the two best hookers in the league. Stick Govin in at six with Black at 7 we have a great playmaker set up that with any forward momentum will rip this league apart. Noone knows where anyone is playing and i know for certain the players arnt happy playing all over the place. Maybe eventually he will figure it out. I for one cant wait for next season to start.

People talk rubbish, everyone wants to blaim everything on Black??? He was one of the best players last night, he created the first try anf fair play to Shad for supporting him well.

Its down to the forwards, Barrow were making a lot of yards every time we weren't. It makes it very difficult for our play makers if the forwards don't have enough fire in their bellys

I looked at the many threads on the go and wanted to post, but had to choose one that I thought had legs.

I didnt post last night because I was full of emotion on return, so wanted to sleep on it.

I dont think the nights sleep has helped.

I took a half day holiday from work (chesterfield) and travelled for just short of 4 hours up to the @rse end of Cumbria to a town that was closed and a two and a half hour trip home. To watch what was arguably our worst performance of the season. This felt like seasons of old, where we constantly travelled miles and miles to watch a game and take a tonking.

We looked dis-organised and flat, whilst Barrow looked organised and fired up. Barrrow broke through the tackle time after time after time in the middle of the field and out on the wings. To be honest we were really lucky to be only 15-0 down at half time, as they could have scored 4 or 5 more tries.

I have read posts on here saying that Ben Black and Penky were dreadful as they were playing off of the back of a beaten pack. Well again being honest we didnt just have a beaten pack we had a beaten pack, second row, halves and backs. Barrow beat us in every single department. I personally found it difficult to pull out any possitives from the game.

I had a call from a Bradford fan on my drive home and I told him that we were so bad I would bet even the Bulls could beat us at the moment.

I do personally think that we have little chance next Thursday, no matter who wins the game tonight. That said I will be there and by next Thursday will have my possitive head back on and will be shouting my team on.

shows how we have lacked a destructive second rower all season, ours are there for tackling not attacking.

Harsh to criticise Black as he shouldn't be playing he is injured. Im amazed that Calland didn't sub him with 10-15 mins to go as the game was lost.
