Yep, can't disagree with this. Other creditors in 2023 showed as £190k which isn't necessarily related to related parties. And there is no related parties note detailing loans from directors and/or shareholders so I'm assuming this £700k invested by directors/shareholders happened in 2024?
Also don't like this at all: "We reached out to HMRC for an extension and time to pay, something that has been granted to other clubs recently". So the taxman has one rule for one and a different rule for others?

| When not having access to who said what to who and when it was said in the past I can’t honestly say what the truth is and will probably never know.
But I can see, hear and read what’s being said now and that appeal from LK is riddled with contradictions from start to finish.
The club had said that the response has been “phenomenal” and prior to that also said what the immediate crises was, namely the taxman and players wages covering the time period of this and next week.
All I can say is that by the end of next week they better have used these donations to get both of them payed and tell us they have done so.

| 80K Needed by the middle of next week according to Calander TV news.
Another question we should be asking is if by some miracle we make it through this, do we want these people running our club?

| Also the trust are just handing over money donated with no specification of where it will be spent which is also worrying.

Yes this is a worry, I know they are trying to help the club but this is head in the sand stuff. The trust should come out with a statement after speaking to the board and making sure that money is going to the right places or it should be set aside for a new club. Given the boards statement it looks like massive missmanagment on behalf of the board and any plan will be just the usual pipe dream plan they have put out during the season. Sack it off now and start from the ground up.

HMRC are usually accommodating for payment plans.
Maybe this is ain't the 1st time Halifax have asked hence the refusal.

| In fact I don't want to put another penny into this set up. Even thinking of not going on Sunday. All of a sudden need 200k to survive until the end of the year? It just doesn't make sense.

When the question was asked if the money was just going to be handed over with the club deciding what to do with it or if the Trust could specify what they wanted it to be used for I thought Mark Moore and the trust guys said that was the very question they were having among themselves and a meeting was going to be held with the board regarding it?

| The handing over of money is just like when Bradford raised half a million and handed it over. It went into a black hole and the club still went bust. People have short memories.
The situation is dire at best. Any money that goes into the club right now is likely to go straight to HMRC, and may still not be enough to save it. Meanwhile the staff and players haven't been paid fully. Why is this? has money been withheld to pay HMRC? Meaning gate receipts and other income sunday can go to paying the wages?
If you don't pay people on time, it's the beginning of the end. There are some incredibly loyal and long serving staff members, but loyalty isn't going to put food on their tables or pay their bills.
Needing £200k + to see the year out before even looking at next year sounds impossible. We have 2 home games left. So very limited income beyond this. Season tickets sales will be minimal because who is going to buy one in the current situation? Likewise sponsorship income isn't going to exist because other than the loyalist of fans who are in a position to sponsor through their businesses. Who is going to put money into sponsoring a club that may not make it to the end of the year?
I admit i'm not being very optimistic, but what is there to be optimistic about?

This.
The way I see it is if we donate money to the club in the current state we are giving a vote of confidence to the people who are currently running the club. The reality is given the state they have got it in to they should be nowhere near our club. From what they have said there is a 900k shortfall this season, 700k from them(Personally think this will turn out to be another lie) and this 200k they are trying to raise to make the end of the season. What happens next season? What happened to all the promises? Hey at least they had a good day out at Wembley.

Massive risk of the money donated either being misused or not being enough and just lost.
But to say other people who decide to donate have short memories is neither true or showing any respect to them, most if not everyone is very much aware of what happened to Bradford, their not stupid even if it turns out in the end to be a stupid thing to do.
As before these very same concerns are being expressed by multiple people across all of social media and everywhere else even with Bradford supporters speaking about it on our web sites.
Included in those who are aware of it not just on here are Mark Moore and those of the Trust who will be handing it over.
It's down to each individual to decided to donate or not and if they do then at the moment the best way seems to be to trust the Trust and through them.
As to the future if there is one, LK admits he's only in his role as a stop gap until a replacement comes forward and if the club could be saved the less debt remaining the more chance there could be of getting someone new in and the old out.
If not and we're dead then we're dead.[/i
