Exactly this, there is a reason that most other teams don't employ this tatic but you never know maybe Grix is re-inventing the wheel and has come up with something that other teams will adopt going forward.

Apart from the fact our goal line defence problems aren’t down to Brandon and part of the reasons Grix does it is we haven’t got many back rowers and for the exact opposite to what’s been presented.

Namely it might be a good idea to keep one of your highest tackle count players on the pitch when the problem is elsewhere, if you think other teams don’t do that them maybe it’s not Grix doing the inventing.

For my twopenneth, RL can be a game of fine margins and confidence. Even the best teams only need to be a few % off and they can get rolled. Take Sunday, we still made similar erros to some previous games, 2 charge downs, 3 poor passes that went to opposition, knock on at play the ball. But this week we got away with it. One of our best players committed 4 of these on his own. Good job Moore didn't make them, never mind wanting him dropped some would be demanding we reopened the Gibbet.

Yes a lot of what I post is objective information, ultimately the coach the one with the qualifications and insight will make the decision. I can’t remember exactly what gfb once quoted but it was a long the lines of what if he was was right. . I will counter that with what happens if we win the 1895 cup what happens if we win promotion because let’s face it we’ve as much chance if not more than anyone else doing it . On our day we are the best attacking side in the league and regardless of budgets have some brilliant players at this level . I’m not sure if promotion is right for us right now but it wouldn’t surprise me if this was 2010 all over again but with greater rewards. Whilst the current fax team seem to struggle with focus when it doesn’t really matter we undoubtedly play our best when it looks like we’re on the canvas . I agree with all that. I think recent performances show what we are capable of and the fact that we have not produced anywhere near those performances on a regular basis is one of the reasons why people have been calling for Grix's head. Totally agree regards best attacking side in the league as well and its the faith that I had in this side at the beginning of the season that left me thinking we may need a change of coach and I am happy its come about, Im happy that it is on Grix's own terms, and I am very happy that he gets the chance to coach the team at Wembley. He is a Fax lad and I want him to suceed but us fans will be here long after these players and coaches have long gone and ultimatley I want what is best for HXRLFC and I still think that is what is happening.

I might be wrong, I mean it wouldn't be the first time in the last 30 years or so and won't be the last. I get that some people are really butt-hurt about Grix's decision to leave but you never know it may work out for the best and I remember back when Calland took over as 1st team coach after been assistant that he wasn't everyones choice but it turned out ok.

If everyone had the exact same opinions it would be pointless having a forum. Just because someone's opinion differs to yours doesn't mean they're wrong or negative all the time. The dictionary definition of opinion is quite befitting for a lot of posts including myself on this forum

When the thread about Joe Keyes got started it was based on fact and knowledge and by definition is no longer an opinion.

It then got turned into a one having another dig at Grix, just the same as all the other opinions had been.

This fantasy world of opinions of course somehow stops the forum from being pointless.

Some people are unable to accept other people's opinions and some people are unable to accept that they are wrong. Ive been wrong so many times on here (I'm sure some have probably scoured my posts trying to prove that like we have seen recently) but so what? Its an opinion on sport and the team I follow and like Hudd-Shay says it would be boring if we all held the same thinking wouldn't it.

Yes it is hard to accept the views of a biased opinionated person and I choose not to, like it or lump it.
