The players are all professional enough to understand this and see out their contract with their current employers!
Do you expect all the players to wait until all the games are finished and then scrabble around to find themselves a job during the short off-season? |

So we play Fev in the Million Pound game that potentially puts Heaton in a position where he would be better off if his current club lose that game.
I'm not saying it would affect his game but subliminally it must have some impact and make him think about it, therefore negotiations should not start until a players season has finished.

Season starts in Feb yes. The players obviously are at the club training way before this. |
