Whilst not my first preference I'd rather us play at the Shay with just the East Stand open as opposed to anywhere outside of Halifax with all stands open.

Once everything is sorted out the club should hold a presentation and Q&A function at the Shay for the fans.

After this terrible season we deserve to be told the facts about the ground agreement, the state of the club and also who is signed and who is leaving. Forget the usual drip-feeding and "Massive Announcements"!

Only FCHT fans could create a thread currently 20 pages long about Fax in which a good many of the posters state that they have "no interest whatsoever in Rugby League"!

This story seems pretty similar to one that came out awhile back about Bradford City moving out of Valley Parade due to rent issues. It was pretty much just empty posturing to try and get themselves into a better bargaining position and it pretty much worked. Likely this is just the same situation

I recently watched a programme called "Ripper St" it's set in approx 1888 and there was a football match.
True to form as it was then and is now the game descended into a brawl between both sets of players and of course the crowd.

South stand season tickets in sale monday. Confirmed

One of the funniest posts on there was the guy with "insider" knowledge posting how he had no interest in Fax then went on to write about 5 paragraphs about us. Flea's posts do crack me up though he thinks he has a "source" on the council so comes out with some things that the Town fans just lap up yet a couple of days later when it turns out he is talking it is all forgotten until his next nailed on rumour. Only a total imbecile is going to believe that there is any teams in the area other than Fax and Town that could afford to play out of that stadium. Saying that though his bid to "rent" the pitch and there by stop Fax playing on it will take some topping.

There are so many untruths told on that message board its almost unbelievable. I do not agree with some of the things that our board have done and do think they have been underhand sometimes but I also know they want what is best for Fax and have a very difficult job to do with the cards they have been dealt. That said some of the stuff on their board is just down right lies which some of their posters just take as read which just makes the animosity worse. luckily there are a few people on there who although they have no time for Fax at least can see both sides somewhat.

Despite what some Town fans think(Or any Fax fans for that matter), the stadium will not be viable with one tenant so we are in a pretty strong position. The problem for me is that the Town board are so weak that it almost negates any bargaining powers the two teams have. I mean who in their right mind contributes payment to a pitch that is unfit for purpose when it is totally the councils responsibility as part of their lease agreement? Then the Town fans have the audacity to moan that Fax have not contributed, are they really that stupid? Their beef should be with the council and not with us. But then again were Town actually out of pocket? Ive yet to see any evidence that they were and it looks like just another smokescreen to have a go at Fax when the truth is very different to what they are saying.

If I rented a house and the floorboards were broken and water was leaking in I wouldn't pay for it, so why did Town pay for a pitch all their fans cried about? Who knows but surely the two teams have better bargaining power working together.
