| Exodus of players will begin this week with London looking to announce the long rumoured signing of Adamson. To be fair though managing to keep hold of Manning and Divorty after interest from other teams and including Bracek and possibly Robinson in there we really should not miss him.

| Let's say we stick with Harrison...
How are we going to attract anyone new to the club? Fans/players/sponsors? How are we going to convince the stay aways to come back who are staying away because of the boring, passionless rugby we've had for nearly 3 years.
New fans - Come and pay £15 to watch a great, exciting sport where you'll be richly entertained and which really delivers value for money when compared to SL clubs. Errrr...
Stay away fans - Come and watch your team really strive to get back to where we once were and where we believe we should be, back to the glory days with attractive, entertaining rugby to make you come back for more. Errrr...
Players - Come to a club where you'll play in front of packed crowds playing free-flowing, expansive rugby, you won't be criticised publically in the press and knowing if you're in form you'll be picked to play in the team and build great relationship with your teammates. Errrr...
Sponsors - They are seriously well looked after and the packages they receive in the East Stand are definitely competing at SL level. Then they'll go out to their seats/viewing area and see how their money is being 'used'.
It's easy just to stand still and stick with what we've got. Standing still doesn't move us forward though. We've got to move on to move forward.

Your closer than most on this subject GFB.
This weeks RL press quotes KH saying concerning players, Halifax have agreements in place and will be announcing departures, new arrivals and re signings in the next few weeks.
So it looks like Karl will still be here.

| Sorry Karl (great player and Fax through and through we accept that and respect the man) get rid = sack
This club has 'lost its fans' a bit like he seems to have 'lost the dressing room' for me as how can a team play so badly in two big games and only play to their true potential in about 6 games all season?
The club are playing Russian roulette by giving Karl a new contract, if they do then be prepared to lose more fans and suffer a hit on their income, surely they cannot be stupid enough to give him a 3 year deal can they?????

| Be honest, how many of you wanted Karl as coach even while Matt was in charge?
Come on, be honest.

Yer me and I am sad it has not worked out and even sadder that I like many are getting on the big fellas case BUT the club is bigger than one man and right now the club have to make the right decision for its own good and make the change to get fans back on-board, otherwise pay the consequences and looking at the 4 full time teams next year we will not make that spin dryer league and will be drift wood.

| If he signs a new contract I'm afraid it's a big slap in the face to most of the fans. He's just not what Fax need now. Time to part ways and move on.

| TBH I was one of the few that said I didn't think he was right for the club when appointed but was prepared to give him time and that if our method was going to be to grind out wins I can live with that if it works, I'm sure I can dig out my posts if anyone wants proof. I just never thought he was right for the club, we need a recent ex super league player with fresh ideas, recent knowledge and kills of the game and experience. This ex player coming back stuff never works.

| Here is my idea I have floated around some folk.
We need to address the training issue I think - surely we have something in this town?
My idea was to move KH to Director of Football, he has the clout in rugby league and knowledge just like Martin Hall did. He does a lot behind the scenes and for me, a great help for Fax TV. Bring someone in as head coach, may be a younger coach? To work with KH but has their own ideas? Sean Long - the only issue I have with Sean, he doesn't seem to stay anywhere long enough. Another person - Danny Orr?

| Good ideas Triran. Question is, could the club afford any or all three of those options? And, as I said before, would you "rent" any if your facilities to the club, knowing the problems there has been with rent over the last couple of years?

I agree with you in principle, my concern would be could our club go down this road financially, I really would like our bod to put out a statement to the fans explaining our current situation and plans for the next 3 seasons. I think communication between club and fans is appalling, this does not include Fax tv which as been a breath of fresh air.

There is more to the "rent" saga than we will ever know. Now the "sale" saga has passed, I think the "rent" saga has passed - as they were probably connected.
In regards could we afford this setup. Probably not, hence a young cheap coach?

Loving the hypocrisy of some.: |
|
| It would probably never happen, but I personally would love to see both clubs put their heads together (for once) and find a good training solution that works for both clubs. A proper base for not just on pitch training sessions, but a gym, indoor work areas (for when the training pitch(es) are too muddy, etc.
Its not something that would happen over night, but its something they could aspire for.
