Comings and goings who knows what will happen and it all adds some interest.

More importantly is whether any of it affects the end of the season games and that concerns me a bit.

I know last year we had a lot of disruption in this department but the fact that it was all going on in the run up to the play off's had a big part to play in our we finnished at the Eagles.

I can understand clubs wanting to get their squads sorted out asap, unfortunate in some ways that it falls at this time of year instead of the off season.

Rumours fly all over the place, weren't Fev dead set to sign Black a few months back? Personally I'd rather we focus on keeping Penky and look for a half back elsewhere but who knows!

I hate mid to end of season player and coach movements. It has effectively destroyed Huddersfield's season and MUST affect player mentalities towards the end of the season. When Ben Black dropped "that" ball, it was because he was mulling over a Widnes offer at the time

Your right faxcar i hope it does'nt disrupt either of our end of season run ins as i for one would rather have it as tight as it is between our 2 teams than one of us running away with it that would be boring IMO.Also its only natural these rumours would be flying around as our 2 teams have the best players in our league so im sure DP and KH would want players from either of our squads for next season.

Exactly mate and all we can do is trust them to get the right man for the job at the right price.

I am sure any movement will build on what is allready there and hopefully improve what we have.

In this sense I think Fev are further down the road as the major rebuilding took place when DP took over and since then he has just strengthened/replaced here and there as the need arose.

Of course he has had the backing of the BOD then and now.

Fax's rebuilding started again just a year ago and I think we have over achieved in some ways, I do think there will be a fair few changes this time round and it will be another year on before things start to level out and settle down.

Hopefully some happy days for us both.

We have Thacks and Handforth already tied up for next year.

The only way i see Finny coming back to Fax is in a player swap with Penky.

Then play handforth at hooker, with thacks and Finn HBs.

But it is all speculation, and i dont belive any of it.

lets just concentrate on Leigh at the minute eh!

I can understand Ben Black wanting to move to Fev, his exit from us was acrimonious, and the only way he can really make his point is with Fev.
Yes he scored a try against us (it was written in the stars) and yes he may score against us later this season, but he won't get to a Final with Batley.
