agree, how can anyone blame him.

If the club believe that Calland knew the situation, and played ostick anyway, then they are right to suspend him and perhaps dismiss him.

However, if the club are making a scapegoat out of calland for their own incompetence, then that is rubbish. That is no better than what the rfl have done - throwing the book at the little guy to save face over their own inadequacies.

TBH, the amount of hassle I had getting hold of my season ticket, it doesn't surprise me one bit how incompentent the admin lot are at the club.

Good idea Sean, Think you should take on that responsibility and get right under Halicat's skin and find out the truth.

Has someone hacked into Tony Fax's computer and started posting negatives comments about the club? After 8 years and 5800+ posts, there are negative vibes being attributed to his username, doesn't feel right.

I haven't read all the posts, but I would say that Matt is 100% right in Defending him self. He's the coach, not the recruiter.

I like both Matt and Martin Hall, but I would guess that this blunder lands at Martins feet as Football Director. If Martin has somebody who he delegates to do this kind of investigation, then responsibility topples down to them, but he is ultimately responsible. Everybody is entitled to make a mistake every now and again, though this is a massive one (whoever is to blame).

Matt has only been suspended pending investigation, not sacked, but I do hope that he's not held 100% accountable as that would be just unfair.

I wonder if the RFL should consider a "Player Passport", registering what Cup games they've played in and which can be transferred between clubs as they travel?

Having said that, I'm sure there's some point in the Cup games where players can play for one club and then play for another within the same Cup, but not sure if it's below Championship 1 level - moving to above eg going from Siddal to Fax.
