Don't know the technicalities of how forums operate but would probably seem healthy moving forward to close this thread down. It's titled Grix - time to go - well he's going - even though there are obviously still very strong views on both sides as to whether he should have gone it seems futile in the extreme hammering away on a subject that's already decided. I've booked my train and hotel today - personally I'd much rather be looking forward to - and discussing - what should be a fantastic day for the club and all its fans.No idea if it'll stop this prattling but I'll start a new thread - Wembley!!!

I'm actually surprised how triggered some people are with Grix's decision to leave. You have to remember he had the offer of a new contract on the table before picking another team over us and the only incling he has had of fans booing was over at Batley which he actually defended in his interview. We know that Simon does not go on social media for the very reasons of not having to listen to fans opinions so he has had no idea about any unrest. For some people though they are still pushing the idea that he has been forced out of the club which isn't true. I imagine people will get over it pretty quickly like everything in sport.
