How has he gone this season? What's the general opinion on the terraces of his performances? He had a couple of good games on TV in the middle eights and certainly impressed the Sky team. We probably don't need another hooker though so he'd have to be better that what we have got.

Beswick isn't actually as old as you think and is class who could add value to our current hooking duo of Kay and Maneely.(I would leave Connor Robinson as half back cover). I would welocme him back with open arms.
Sam on the other hand would need to improve his attitude massively for me. Good offload skills but sometimes acts like the pantomime villain and that doesn't fit well with the current set of forwards we have who are all an honest hardworking no frills unit.
All rumours of course and no doubt we will see in due course.

Have Beswick back any day, always rated him and what I've seen this year he has improved from when he was here before.

None of us have ever actually played with Sam so we can't really comment on how he is viewed by team mates. I have had team mates in the past that everyone loved to hate but to his team mates he was a cracking lad. My opinion on whatever happens this off-season will be the same, if RM decides he wants them / doesn't want them, then thats good enough for me. Apart from Gareth Moore, hate that little

For me, Beswick has been outstanding all season. He regularly gave 80 minutes and is super-fit. (he can't even sit still on the bench, if he comes off!) He has proved an inspiration to his team-mates, time and again and, for my money, it's no coincidence that our deterioration in the Qualifiers, has partly been down to the reduced time he has been on the pitch. If I had to choose between him and Higham, I would go for Bob, any time.

Rich ,in my opinion Bob has had a very good season not many Leythers will disagree with this,I think Rowls has wanted Mickey Higham as his main Hooker and thinks Mickey can play 80 minites,ask Leythers to pick yheir top 3 players of the season and most would have Bob in there,I've a feeling we could be trying to reduce our Salary Cap for incoming players ,and we have a very promising young hooker in Lewis Foster.

I would have them both back in a shot. Bob's departure was one of the worst decisions by Fax in recent times. Sam? Well Sam's Sam isn't he, but at this level he is a very good player. Up The Fax!

Fax didn't decide to let Beswick go, he turned down more money here to go to Leigh. I think he saw what was coming when Calland got sacked.

I believe one of the reasons Bob's leaving is that he didn't like the idea of playing second fiddle to Micky Higham. Bob wanted to start and be first choice number 9. If he came to Fax would he be faced with the same scenario, if so what's the point?

maybe RM could view him as our main hooker for next year ?
