| Well a shocking 2nd half performance albeit with a team that was playing on one leg. The last two meetings though have ended in defeats by 32 pointsso no arguments there. I thought Grix had a good game to finish his career but we were 2nd best in all departments. Onto next season though and if our rumoured signings come off we could at last be a team capable of competing for the top instead of being satisfied with being a team just competing. Up The Fax!

Surprisingly decent rugby in shocking conditions.

| Fev have shown is where the bar is at and we have a lot of work to do. The Fev team is just so physically imposing and we lack that size in our pack, obviously offloading our biggest player probably didn't help things. Next weeks game should be a cracker with the best two teams in the final like it should be.
For us we look like we have made a lot of good signings in the backs but we need some real size up front so I am sure Grix is trying to address that. Im glad McGrath scored a cracker to end his Fax career that was real quality. Hopefully Woody stays as at the moment he is the only player we have that has got some flair and the ability to unlock a defence. We would have taken 3rd before the season but its just a shame that injuries and the loan farce left us with no chance of competing when it really mattered.

| No surprises at all for me the lads tried but Fev were just too strong across the park and dominated, added to that we had our usual share of mistakes, silly penalties and turnstile defence, at one point in the second half I feared it could be a cricket score.
Hard to say who will come out on top between Rovers and Toulouse but I will go with Fev as I have a feeling Toulouse will feel the pressure more and bottle it.

| The size of squad which meant towards the end of the season we'd no alternative but play players who weren't fit, with result that brilliant mid season run couldn't be maintained. Conversely teams like Fev with a much bigger squad were able to rotate/rest players, meaning todays result not really a surprise. I would agree with the need to get JWH signed up ideally on a 2 year deal as he's been a revelation this season at full-back, and even on one leg today was one of our better players in both attack and defence. While we definitely need more punch in the forwards a special word for Gaŕside today - not always been his biggest fan but against a bigger stronger pack thought he ran his blood to water.

| Thought grixys post match interview was probably his most engaging to date , spoken from the heart and honest assessment . More of the same for next year. Probably a good time to sit down with a trusted person and review the good decisions and those which with hindsight could have been better. All the best looking to improve for next year.

| Simon Grix has grown on me throughout the months of this year , he seems like a genuinely nice guy and the people around him don’t have to say a bad word around him , ultimately a small squad has cost us in the end as we looked tired and beaten up early on , great effort and something to build on for next season especially with the rumours of quality coming in . We’ve lost a lot of players during and at the close of the season and it’s a must we have a bigger squad ( if funds allow ) for next year .

| It is a fact the players were on empty and after last week probably pulling up the reserves of what has been a successful year, like others have said we would have taken third before the season began, it looked as though Fax had recruited well but a rocky start did not do much for the confidence or some of the commenters on this forum.
I watched the game on Sky , however I thought from the get-go when coming onto the field body language showed a beaten team, Fev ran out pumped up, Fax seemed to stroll out fearing the worst.
What’s done is done onto next year and improvement on and off the pitch. Up theFax!

Aye. I agree with most of that. In the lead up to the semi-final the language and general attitude coming out of the club was very subdued to say the least. But it's gone and hopefully next year brings some normality back to the game, and the world, and with our rumoured signings Fax can at last get back to where we all want them to be. Up The Fax!

| What does CR bring to your squad as a number 7? Cleanest shirt on the pitch again.

Great endorsement from one of the games best in Lee Briers.

Yer there’s a you tube video of this conversation on rugby league back chat , I think given time and funding Grix ll do a great job .

| Thought the difference in ruck speed was the main difference, even when they will going up hill. Quite obvious we were 2-3 quality forwards short - been the same situation for 2nd half of season.
Can't fault the effort though. Never gave in despite being 2 subs short and many of the players busted. Lots of positives for next year.

| You cant fault the effort of the team on saturday. We just came up against a fresher and bigger side who i think james webster should be credited with getting the best out of. I know they have more money then most in the championship but they do play a tough and entertaining brand of rugby and i fancy them to win next sunday. And as already been said the rumored signings for next season do sound very promising but they do need to include some more firepower in the forwards especially the front and second row. If we can get that then there is no reason why we cant finish even higher next season.
