Very true John , it was blown up out of all preportions ,nothing was seen of the incident , I think only the players must have heard it , these remarks have been going on for years , I know it doesn't make it right , but name calling is NOT a sending off offence , unless its Racial , having said that where do you draw the line ?Charlie doesn't know  .

But we do have different rules, call a fellow player a big fat b'stard and no case to answer, call him a big fat white b'stard no case to answer.
Call an Indian cricket captain a ******* Fat **** and he goes running to the ICC. No racial or homophobic content, so where do you draw the line. |

If "only the players heard it " how does that make it blown up out of all proportions ?
"nothing was seen of it" ahahaha but you don't know that, because, as in the Zak Hardaket incident, i can assure you that this was seen and heard, by lip synch experts, so don't you be too sure of that !
"name calling is NOT a sending off offence" are you being serious ? If specific language is used in a public place it's not only a sending off offence but it can also be a criminal offence - FACT ! Foul & abusive language is the terminology, i'd say homophobic is certainly abusive, disagree with that if you wish, but it certainly appears to be a sending off offence, if he was actually sent off in the 72nd ( or whatever ) minute of the game, so i guess, more than "only the players heard it" somehow....
Charlie doesn't really know, not really he doesn't.

Gabby Logan, I understand she is a football commentator, Worzal will know who I mean, has said she was the subject of sexism whilst at the World Cup in Brazil! again,Worzal will know what that was all about, she went on to say and I quote "I was deeply upset and outraged"
The comment? "Who is looking after the children whilst you are here?"
Blimey that should be worth five matches and a heavy fine.
Ps. Seems like a sensible question to me.
