I have lived in Halifax all my life since 1961. During that time I have supported both professional codes and watched out for both teams results. I am a loyal Fax fan with far more interest in rugby than football. I am proud of my up bringing and the Town I live in. I SUPPORT all that is Halifax and promote our Town at every opportunity.
I would never dream of trying to slander and bring bad press onto either club -no matter what 'sources' might say.
Some Town fans seem to want to drag Fax's name through the mire and some of the vitriolic commentary is totally unjustified.
Football fans please get off the rugby forum and let us genuine Halifax fans read about rugby matters.

Normally I couldnt care less really what Halifax Town do. It does not interest me what success or sad times they have. But the rubbish and anti-fax hatred from a number of fans who claim to follow the Football club is slowly making me feel that I hope the football club struggles due to the attitude of these morons.

When the old Football club owed money before finally going under and Fax covered the money they owed, I dont remember pages and threads asking why this was happening etc. I dont remember an anti Halifax Town/football enviroment, where witchhunts were organized against people who were involved at the Football club. Why do Town fans feel the need to make up lies and create such negativity for Fax?

The luddites seriously need to get a grip and get a life. Fax are not in danger of going under anytime soon. Maybe things could have been handled better- but the same goes for others as well. If the Council and others was so concerned, you would think that there would be an appearance before the courts. Fax have made a statement about things as have the council. People need to just accept that.

I do understand where you are coming from and at times I think similar, however as said previously I would like to see both clubs successful. I am sure there are far more Town fans who don't share the views of the Bubberites, Luddites, bags o'sh-tes, than those who do.
Your other point, make up lies and create negativity, think East Stand, entrance to the bar, our Hall of Fame, what happens on Towns match day? do they carefully take out our numerous trophies and replace them with theirs or do they cover the cabinet up with a sheet.
Jealousy is the answer.

I personally think it's because they experienced heartache when they went bust and want us to feel the same way they did.
