Also in the same piece it says tying up the loose ends on deals for Joshua McDonald Buchanan 16 years old (stand off or loose forward) from Salford scholarship scheme and Jordan Topping 17 years old (centre or second row) from Wigan scholarship scheme.

Not heard a thing which could be good in the sense that at least one of the targets is still involved in the SL playoffs.
With them taking place over the weekend some news may follow soon after depending on the results.
Sounds like Fev are doing the same.
If this is true one will not be Tommy Lee as he has signed for London.

We need a pick me up after the Penky news, make it a big name and listen for the cheers!!

Yeah it has been a bit quiet. I did expect a bit of news after announcing Panky's exit.
I'd like to get Ryan Hampshire on season long loan from Wigan, this kid is an enormous talent and only 18.

I don't think that'll be possible Chris. He's not ready for 1st team yet, I've watched him develop over the years at Normy and I agree he's outstanding. Current international, his father also scouting for Wigan in west Yorks I understand. |

Yeah, the Knights have developed a rare talent in him! As the saying goes if your good enough, your old enough! I think this kid is the next real big thing if he gets a chance! I personall think he'd rip it in the Championship! I know a few NRL clubs were impressed with him in Oz on the recent Academy tour Col. |
