Might learn how to log Freedom of Information requests myself. I am concerned that our council are renting an asset of public interest to the football club at an reduced rate. As a tax payer I want to make sure the council are not underselling a public asset. Don't expect a response but worth a try.

Do it as they are obliged to reply to an FOI you have made a very good point about allowing a tenant to pay less when the Council is strapped for cash its wrong end of story and remember we are all Calderdale Council taxpayers (if you live in Calderdale).

A very good point actually. If the council flatly refuse to reduce our rent to the level of FCHT and insist on the backlog being paid in full then we should finally bring ourselves down to the Luddites' level and start a campaign as Calderdale ratepayers to insist that FCHT's rent be increased to the same level as we, as ratepayers, would in fact be subsidising them.
