Thouroughly engrossing game between 2 good teams. Perhaps we had a couple of decisions gpo against us but I don't think we have any real complaint, proud of our effort and some great skill on display
The other aspect that I enjoyed was the presence of the Keighly fans who were a credit to their team and the 2 Leigh fans stood near us who had an interesting unbiased view

Were not good enough, we gave everything and came up short, im sad, but we need to face facts, any other season we would have finished 4th and not made the final, this was our best chance. DISAPOINTING. no back pats from me, reality check instead.

I was actually amazed how small the stadium was ... the North Stand was bearly knee high. Also they ran out of booze and food before the Fax match started ... poor entertainment, poor facilities, poor ground.

agreed, poor final venue choice, running out of food before the kick off with the excuse they didnt know there was a game on is appalling, Shame on them. and the view was not uninterupted, Leigh and Widnes both have better stadia, poor, poor preparation, 3 games in a day? NO, NO, NO, and why did we watch Keighley and Oldham? none of them stopped.

I thought the stadium was excellent for the games it accommodated, the catering arrangements on the other hand were shiite as was the pie I had the misfortune to consume. i just hope to god we don't have the same caterers at home next season

You could have won it today, unlucky, i thought you may have shaded it, but we came on strong when it mattered thank god (des)
Black played a blinder but so did Broady which showed how much pressure you put us under, great game today played by two good traditional solid clubs who deserve a chance to sit at the the top table with the eliete (sp)
Felt for your kicker today wtf was wrong with him ? nerves or injury ? he missed a fair few sitters today, but thats football.

Message to a couple of nobs on your forum, leave all this dessie the antichrist out ffs will yer, and get over yourselves.

Fax will be far stronger next season, good luck.

One of the Barra players thought he was playing RU during one of his crucial kicks. Eddie Hemmings on SKY seemed quite upset about it as well icon_biggrin.gif

No sour grapes though, Barra just edged it.

When we played in the 06 GF at Warrington, we got to the stadium about an hour before our match. The queue to get a drink was about 100 deep and was shut by the time our match had started. The bar closing probably had more to do with a load of pizzed up Swinton fans fighting with the stewards though. Really poor organisation on the day though.

Thought although a nice stadium the set up today was at best terrible. We went to watch the second half of the game before ours and it took 40 mins to be served for a drink.

What a joke of a place. We then tried to get some food for the whole place to be shut down.

It spoilt a good day out but what bad organising. Surely Warrington with a bit better organising could have made a lot more money??

Lets just hope they decide to change the venue for next year.

it was crap in the North Stand, they'd run out of beer, any hot food & white coffee during the break between the Keighley game & ours... pathetic... surely thay must have realised there were going to be quite a few fans there yesterday!

I spoke to one of the catering staff. They were told to expect 9000 people in total drifting in and out the stadium throughout the afternoon icon_rolleyes.gif .

Which would be all the more surprising if you knew who they are on here (if I'm thinking of the same 2 who I know were stood with the 'Fax fans) icon_rolleyes.gif
