Faxcar - thanks for the update, there is not a day goes by without me thinking about Dave and hoping he gets well, I hope his progress continues.

Where do you drink prior to the home games RFF ? I usually park up at the Top house and have a pint & a natter with Mr. Ashton & his mates and the landlord is kind enough to allow us to park there. Much nicer pub than the one next to the railway line. |

Mike and Mike it means so much to Dave and his family that the club has been fully behind them from the very start and will be through to the end.
Have you all noticed this when HRLFC call Dave OUR FAN and not a fan of HRLFC.
I brought Ron and Anne back home from the hospital after my visit the other night and they said you had been in touch.
One of the goals Dave has in mind is that as soon as he can get from wheel chair to veichle and out and about for a day is to come to a home game at the Shay.
The hospital staff and Dave are working hard toward that now.
Lets hope it can be realized sometime later in the year hopefully when it is a bit warmer!!

Dave is still pressing on with the physio with more time in the pool.
He is also spending some time on the mobility banana board which will help him to get in and out of a vehicle into a wheel chair.
Once he has mastered this then he will be able to out and about a lot more, this will give a big boost.

Cant see much from the footage, but just the fact that you know what is actually happening makes it shocking viewing. Best wishes to Dave and his family. Its great to see the whole Rugby League community come together in times like these.
