Hit the ground running is absolutely the thing that needs to be made clear to everyone at Fax. Last season it seemed to be, according to RM, a case of working our way into the season. This time if we can get off to a good start we have the squad to have a real tilt at top spot especially with a good run in at the end of the season. Up The Fax!

Full Back I would guess baring Marshall trying everyone else there. My halves would have been Murrell And Sammut.

Which 2? Shaun Robinson will be on the wing I would imagine. We should always be looking to improve the team and outside of Murrell, Sammut is better than any halve we have. Given our scoring record over the past few seasons maybe its time for Marshall to make these big decisions.

You would have thought that getting a contract and signing on was one of the biggest loose ends, next week should tell us and as RM said if he comes great if not we move on which suggests he's still looking and in a position to bring in the right kind of player?

Can't see why on Earth Wigan would want Sammut with their other current options but happy we haven't pushed the budget limit for him. The bit that does concern me is that RM just can't seem to make quick decisions on backs that he knows ie it was a no brainer for QLT yet he dithered about and nearly messed it up by all accounts . All he had to do was review the matches qlt played in and those he did not then look at the difference in trys scored. The decision should have taken all of 1 second if the price was right.

JensenFF, you have a point in what you say about the players ability and contribution when he was at Fax, however it may have been sorting the contract items like not getting gazumped again if some one else comes along with a bigger paycheck or the 'offer of Super League' , and he is at Fax for the season.
