To be honest i thought a draw wouldve been a fair result based on our performance from the 60th minute and Fax prior to that I thought we were done at 22-6
Second half changed when Ashall got sent off as he was your best forward by far and we stepped up a gear and seemed to find a bit more space despite going 22-6 down shortly after
Ashall was definately missed more than Haley
Think fitness told in the end in the last 10 minutes and it showed, we took our second half chances which we created or were given to us by Fax
But it wasnt a good Fev or Fax performance by far, a lot of things for both coaches to work on, but as an advertisement for the game and the championhsip it was unbelieveable!'"

What a superb game in front of a very good gate ,I think it said around 2,500 that is just brilliant for the club. I think if we had a few people who don`t come too often what they saw today has got to bring them back.
We need to keep trying to push the crowd numbers up ,a few hundred extra can make such a differance to our club . Well done Fax Directors and everyone else at the club a great advert for Rugby League.

Fantastic game of rugby by two well supported teams,nobody deserved to lose that game today. Should be a good season if teams can produce the entertainment witnessed today.

Well done both sides for an excellent advert of rugby league; A draw might have been much fairer; Well done to Fev for a never say die attitude and to Fax for snuffing out the Fev attack for sixty minutes; Two great traditional sides showing what rugby league is all about;

Great commited performance by both teams, well done to both clubs and their players. Today just shows what a great league we are in and it keep getting better. Featherstone have set the bench mark over recent years but i feel we are now starting to match them. Just a bit gutted we lost but all you can ask for is 100% and we got that. Well done to each and every player.

Sometimes it does seem like we're on the outside when observing SL. However, you are so right in your assessment. The Widnes fans right now are not enjoying their moment in the sun. Salford and London fans don't have the best of times either. 1,900 at London today by the way. How do they keep going? Why do they keep going? |

i would be very, very surprised if you wallop us this season, dont forget we have many new players and they have yet to gel, i also think you are doing a big diss-service to your players that tipped out today when you say returning players, will they play any better than the lads today did for you?
