| I will be watching Fax regardless, always want England to win and will watch all the games we play in but Fax come first and it will be a sky plus job for the England game unless Dewsbury and Fax get together and change the KO time!

| Die hard Rugby fans V a patriotic nation! (V Finance for RL clubs)
Not just for our game but for all sporting contents scheduled for Sunday afternoon. Whilst i am 100% sure there are some die hard fans who would support Halifax or their team if they were playing on the moon
There is a large number of Rugby fans who do follow the English national team at Football, the last 16 of the world cup a game the only has the opportunity to come around once every four years! And its against the Germans! Dewsbury away! mmmmmmmmmm
Common sense has to prevail, move the Dewsbury game, I had been strong armed in to a public engagement on Sunday at 3pm and begrudgingly had to agree to keep some piece, however, that’s out the window now.
So WHEN the game is re-arranged I will get the best of both worlds and watch both England and Fax

| After thinking about it, I'd rather watch the football this weekend, World Cups come around once a year, we go to dewsbury every other year,
If Dewsbury want to impact the gate and play the game at 3, fine by me, They won't be getting my Entrance & Beer money, however I may take my custom to Cas and watch a game of RL this weekend still as they have had the hindsight to move their kick off.
Without starting the "best supported away team" debate, Dewsbury vs Halifax will be one of their biggest gates of the season due to the number of fans we'd take with it only been 20 minutes away, If they want to miss out on the opportunity tomake a few quid, Then its Tough

i dont think they will change it, as they have a massive car boot every sunday, dont know who its run by but dont think they will want to cancel booty as its is a good income, i may be wrong

| As Dewsbury have decided they don't care about the fans and refused to move it then I have decided I don't care about them and will be watching the footy.
Sure they've got a stupid car boot on Sunday morning but what's wrong with Friday night/anytime Saturday/Sunday evening.

| Friday night has to be the best option, or why not Saturday?
I think that those who would choose England over Fax at 15:00 would probably still not do a 13:00 or 18:00. You only have to look at how packed the pubs and clubs have been in Halifax and the surrounding towns to get the feeling that watching England is an event that people attend over an afternoon/evening rather than just going out for the 2 hours of the game. I've already been invited to a number of BBQ's which will inevitably start at lunch time and go on into early evening or later.
I'm afraid that a Sunday kick off at any time will probably result in me missing a game that I would otherwise have been at. I'm afraid that's also likely to include the 10 or so people that I go to games with.

Ditto.
Dewsbury have the same myopic stubborn view as some posters above have. It's no contest. My 20 quid going to the game will be better spent having a Bbq a few beers and watching England.

Does it not occur to you that you could also be considered "myopic and stubborn" for suggesting that the KO time should be moved to accomodate the football?
It may appear "no contest" to you as you obviously put football first before RL but it doesn't seem to occur to you that many committed RL supporters have no interest in football whatsoever.

I have little interest in football personally, But i do watch the national team, as well as Other "top level" matches, Champions League, Internationals, Some Premiership matches,
England vs Germany is a fixture that 99% with a passing interest in football will want to watch, a bit like if Andy Murray reached the Wimbledon Final, that would draw a massive television audience, same when England won the ashes in 2005, a lot of people watched that as we had a chance of winning depsite having little interest in cricket.
Other clubs have seen that having a clash with the football could impact attendances so have moved, yet Dewsbury were very quick to confirm the 3pm kick off, and it looks like it hasnt been considered.

| as a home and away die hard fax fan,i very rarely miss a game, im having problems deciding what to do on sunday.
i had a full day planned starting in ossett and heading towards dewsbury, but with this clash in fixtures and the what i think 'stupidity' that the rams will not rearrange the ko time.
how much money will they lose out on by regular supp orters not going to the rugby????!!
we normally would take anything up to 600-700 if the weathers nice....i predict half as many going if the fixture stays the same.
15*350 alot of coin that!
not to mention the dewsbury fans that will not attend.....a crowd of 1300 will be less than 800 in my opinion
dewsbury sort it out!!!!!!

It would be one of their biggest crowds of the season, if the weather stays good there'd be big takings in the bars ect, but its their accounts and they want to miss out on a good amount of revenue, who are we to judge.
I dont miss many games, and Ive never been to dewsbury and was looking forward to finally going, but seems it will have to wait.
