After some serious trimming of posts in this thread in an attempt to clean it up and keep it on topic, (I apologise to those of you who may have had their posts removed), I hope we can just keep threads on topic and away from some of the nastiness that has reared its ugly head recently.

I had become so fed up with a small minority of the support from HRLFC coming on to the Town forum with abusive and unwarranted comments about the football club, which in turn led to some schoolyard bitching and the rent situation was raised time and time again, that I decided to find out once and for all what the position of BOTH clubs was. It will be noted from the letter from CMBC that information was requested on the rent situation of both teams, as a Town supporter I wanted to know that we were meeting our committments.

I do follow both clubs ( although my first love is the football team ) and I believed, rightly or wrongly, that supporters of both clubs would want to know that the custodians of the clubs were paying their way. Our football club is where it is now because we have been let down badly by the mismanagement of those that were running it and I don't want either club to go through that experience ever again. ( the rugby club have had their own dark days )

The only way we as supporters can try to avoid what has happened at FCHT is to make sure that we are keeping an eye on what are essentially our clubs, those that run the clubs are never long term, they always leave at some point, usually when the brown stuff hits the fan at which point we have to pick up the pieces.

I make no apologies for finding the information and making it public, after all it has had the effect that it appears your directors and CMBC have reached a deal.

mmmm sure the deal would have been reached without you poking your nose in as its something we had to do for the sl application.
love how town fans are the only people saying it all wrong never been a comment from the council so its obviously they were happy with negotiations and outcome. think us rugby and footy fans should have a big group hug lol

As someone who attempted to stick up for HRLFC on the sad forum I can state that the only name calling/abuse etc came from Town fans.

As for getting the info under the FOI... well done.. im sure you can pat yourself on the back.. well done

You are just another waste of good skin & bone who supports the Soccer lot and like to blame the Rugby club for your ills. The Soccer lot have been making nasty lies on the courier and here for a while. They have been abusing people for years like the small brained idiots that they are. Halifax Town have not properly payed their way-Football on the rates, special deals to get cheaper costs of highering a Stadium and basically lieing to one and all. I make no apologies that think you are just a little =#0000FF**** who loves to try and cause problems. Now sod off back to the lonely town forum.
