1st time I have seen Fieldhouse drop a ball, it wasn't a 300 ft bomb either, just a simple pass.. ah well even top players make the odd mistake.

Very impressed with Henderson at 9, a very industrious player.

Close call Barlow just missing out but he really did lift things when he came on, probably to do with them trying to knock his head off every time he had the ball & sometimes when he didn't have it !!! Aston's gameplan to upset him & Rob backfired cos Barlow lifted the Fax forwards.

Leatherbarrow must be favourite.

3- Manning - great defensive energy and carried the ball well.

2- Barlow - Took some really cheap shots from Eagles over excited defence. Lifted the team for final 10 minute effort

1- Worrincey - Solid in defence and devastating in attack. And very cool after final hooter!!!!

Three of 'Fax messageboard posters approached me at the game today asking if you'd accepted my offer to meet up for a natter at the game today, what happened to you ?
If you're one of the players I'll accept that as a reasonable excuse, but seeing as you spent quite a lot of the final 5mins behind the posts we were almost stood next to each other, you could have at least forced a smile
