| To be Honest, i very much doubt they will kick out 2 clubs,
So we will have to wait another 3 years, thats if they keep the door open. can see them closing the door now

| Lets face it, they aren't going to relegate two teams. Toulouse in three years, Scottish team after that. We aren't going to get into SL. I for one cant watch another three years of meaningless games.

I did on the day but after about three days the realisation settled in that it actually was just another game. Our attendances are not going to go up. Our playing roster isn't going to get any better. Just another season playing the same teams.

| We should be in shouldn't we ...... they confirmed we met the minimum criteria and we all know that there are several existing superleague clubs who do not, Crusaders and Wakefield for going into administration. Thats before we talk about stadium. I would love Halifax to mount a legal challenge if they do not get in on the 26th July as the goal posts are forever moving.
It made me laugh watching Boots n All last night - Stevo Widnes should get in because they were all disappointed last time round (I wanted a porsche for Christmas and was disappointed so its nailed on this year). He was banging on about all the clubs should have a wealthy chairman - all I can say is that I hope SOC sticks around.
Finally Richard Lewis says Widnes have achieved great things on the field - obviously he does not watch much Championship Rugby.

| 20 odd quid to stand in the rain watching mis-matches in Super League or £15 tops in this league to watch hugely competitive games in the right spirit and with 'proper' fans? I know which one I'd choose.
(Plus as Halifax are our new derby, I hope you don't get in on the 26th or our next nearest team is probably bloody Barrow!)

Not relevant - criteria was changed immediately when Crusaders when into admin.

What happens when you run out of it like Crusaders did?
Not so important for them

| don't even want us to go up, super league and rl in general is not the same since this damn franchise came in place, its worse. Until they get p and r back they can stick it for me.
Widnes did deserve it for the off-field success but its virtually saying they didn't have to bother in the league they did naff all in three years in the league!!!!
even if we did get in in july gives you bugger all time to perpare its a bag of spanners.
I watch rugby league for the drama of it all winning and losing not for some ting franchise programme watching people in suits decide the fate of clubs that have been rightfully active in the game for over 100 years

I remember Benny Black dropping "that" ball which ultimately gave Widnes a trophy. However, would the RFL had moved the goalposts if Widnes had won bugger all? Most likely!

WELL SAID.
ITS A SHAME THIS IS THE VIEW OF MOST RL FANS...JUST NOT THE PEOPLE THAT MAKE THE DECISIONS.

| I didn't see the annoucement but note both Widnes and Fax met the criteria - did the RFL provide reasons why Widnes were preferred to Halifax?
