Dont think Keighley deserved a BP to honest - ref was the only reason they were in the game. Why he and his touch judges wiped off the couple of tries at the start of the 2nd half is baffeling.

Wost set of officials i have ever seen in this league - and there are some very very poor refs.

I'm immencely proud of the way Keighley played this afternoon. We deserved better.

As for the referee I agree he was a complete and utter disgrace. In the first half he gave you everything but then he evened it up in the 2nd half with some equally dubious refereeing.

I believe Keighley may be putting in a complaint about him.

Some of the decisions were appauling, we had a try chalked off in second half when it was clear the ball was grounded. The Tamghart one ruled out looked like a 2 on 1 strip but the other one you had disallowed in the 2nd half I couldn't see.

Poor second half. We find it difficult to stop teams when they get on a roll, just like Batley away. Keighley deserved a bonus point, but a win's a win. Two months ago we would have lost that one. Another solid performance from Branighan, takes around the field well. Leaves Penky to do the off the cuff stuff, just like the winning try.

Frustrating again from Fax. 20 points up and you shouldn't be throwing it around in your own half it's simple as that. More so given the heat, just 5 straight runs would have been enough, tire them out and make them score from their own 20. Plus we'd still get a break from a missed tackle here and there.

Ref and touch judges were being tools for a solid 10-15 minute spell in the 2nd half and rightly got an ear full. Other than that he was ok if we're being honest. Of the 3 that weren't given for us, Said's was clear ball steal, should have just blown straight away. Nash's 'try' just trickled dead in goal. Haley's however i felt scored in corner as ball was put down split second before touch's flag raised. On VR slow-mo id have put money on it being one.

Keighley battled away to be fair to them but Halifax should never have been in a situation where we needed a last ditch tackle to save us.

Crowd confused me to. Given as 1,650 which it wasn't. And if it was, 1,000 fax fans made the journey 'cause we clearly had slightly more than half.

Finally, it wasn't half chuffing hot. Well done to all the players today for keeping it fairly high tempo.

Wasnt clear where i was stood - the Keighley player made a poor offload and Said picked up the loose ball and went over.

As i say, ignore me. They'll be a photo here somewhere clearly showing he did offload it no doubt.

What? You have got to be joking! The scoreline would have been embarrassing for you had the ref not piggybacked you to all your tries in the second half!

who was he this ref I cant understand this cos the R.F.L.usually send all the crap referees to referee Leigh and instruct them to give Leigh's opponents everything give Leigh nowt .

The scoreline would have been pretty much level at half time had he not been favouring you in the first half. The try just before half-time, I think it was Royston who scored, the ref signaled for a knock-on, our players stopped and he went 80 metres for the try.

Late in the 2nd half Chris Baines fumbled the ball when we were near you line but he clearly managed to knock it backwards before it touched the ground. From the resulting scrum, you went straight down the other end of the field and scored off it. From the kickoff you drove down field got another dodgy penalty and went over to take the bonus point off us.

As far as I know Barry Eaton reviewed the incident on DVD immediately after the game and was not impressed at all.

I'd love to see the penalty count for first half and second half because he clearly favoured Fax first half and us for the first half hour in the second. It was as if he didn't want the sun in his eyes or something.

And of course, according to the cougar fan sat behind me, every play of the ball we were offside, every pass we made was forward and every try we scored was from a knock on / forward pass /obstruction / offside etc.

Come on, no one could be more soft spoken, modest and even-handed than Barry Eaton.
