I just don't think this will happen. Des has said publicly on a few occasions that he won't 'buy out' players (or coaches) that are still under contract. The Oldham 5 and Bauer were offered to Barrow RL in order to get their respective club wage bills down, so no transfer fees were due at all.

I've heard a couple of names for our replacement hooker which are far more likely IMO.

Any of them signed on for next season? All the players at Oldham had contracts to the end of this season, Been that Barrow "took over" the contracts surely the same time-scales apply.

Then again, I read somewhere else that they were technically on loan, either way. Are their contracts up now?
