| LS28 have already come out and said there's a pot of cash should it be needed for a new player and Matt Shaw of league express confirmed that we are 'actively in the market for new additions'

| I've said it on social media so ill say it here. Can't blame QLT he had a good opportunity and played the system!
Fax have brought a player back into the spotlight, given him game time, paid him a salary and have ultimately been left with nothing. Yeah, we may get some players on DR from cas but that's like your mate sleeping with your wife and then lending you his lawnmower! The blame for this sort of thing lies firmly at the feet of the RFL. As long as they allow these types of clauses to exist amd be valid, allow championship players to sign for SL clubs without renumeration and as long as they continue to treat the championship with utter contempt then no club in the championship will ever move on. Its time now for championship chairmen to really stand up and make their voices heard. The first step is refusing dual registration, every club across the board.

Hear, hear! If the SL clubs are then forced to have reserve teams to give fringe players game time, and further more develop local talent, then they wouldn't squander the SKY money to sign up "cover players" only to loan them out again. Who'll welcome QLT if he came back on DR? Certainly not me. For me it's more about commitment and wanting to wear the Fax shirt. Come on lads, give Batley a hiding ...... we don't need QLT. Sharpy hat trick from full back, eh?

LS28 although not doing it to receive any praise are the ones coming out of all this that merit some.
Credit to you lads you deserve it.

| Just another example of us been done over (Higham and Brad Davis before this) and more recently championship club been used. Team spirit can only go so far and thought QLT was the spark that we needed to unlock defences in tight games. Hope we can get someone else in because I reckon we will need it but in the mean time JWH chance for the young lad to get back into the fold.

| First club to come calling were Salford, they would have triggered his Super League clause.
Cas “became aware of availability” and decided to give him a go because of injuries.
If he doesn’t work out suspect he will be released back on DR. Relationship with Cas still ok as Maher and Green on DR.
No perfect, but in circumstances I think best outcome.

I don't know the circumstances on the Brad Davis deal, but the Micky Higham deal was Fax wanted to sign him for nothing,Saints came In and gave Leigh an amount of cash plus a player, as well as offering Mickey better terms,it was a no brainer for both Leigh and Higham.

Pete, again Aaron chose to sign for a SL Club and more cash, you can't blame him.

| QLT, what does it all matter? I've just watched an appalling match Hudds - v- Catalans, a CC QUARTER FINAL watched by about a thousand. I remember watching Fax beat Wakey in a quarter final watched by 13 thousand. Rugby League is dying a slow and painful death ……. RIP

No he didn't. His Mrs was homesick so he went back to NZ. Played NSW cup then signed for Auckland Warriors for a couple of years. Then he went to Hull then Widnes.

| I've just watched that. A pitifully poor game. The lack of skill and class was alarming. The crowd, or lack of it, from a Huddersfield point of view was embarrassing. Shocking, boring rubbish would be a kind description of the game and Sky's decision to cut it off without any summary at the end was a blessing. Utter tripe!
